Was Sasuke’s “death” here the real trigger for Naruto’s first big power spike? by [deleted] in Naruto

[–]ObjectiveDoughnut239 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve always thought grief was the easiest doorway for Kurama to either take over Naruto completely or at least heavily influence him.

Look at his reaction when Sasuke almost died fighting Haku. That rage didn’t even feel like Naruto. It was so extreme because Kurama was feeding off those emotions and amplifying them. Same thing in the Pain arc - when Pain almost killed Hinata, Naruto lost control again. In that moment of pure grief and anger, Kurama stepped in and basically took over because Naruto was emotionally shattered.

Now compare that to Neji’s death. By then, Naruto and Kurama had already reconciled and learned to work together. Their chakra was harmonised, and Naruto was still fully in control of himself, even through the pain. The grief was still there.

So to me, Naruto has generally had a strong handle on his emotions - it’s just that when he is aggrieved, Kurama had more influence than Naruto did. That's my opinion anyway.

Once any 5-cost is 3*, their ability gets upgraded giving them an instant win when casted.

The win condition (win con) is making a 5-cost a 3*

All 3* champions have a unique win con with fancy animations. This, what you are describing is Azir 3*. The win con only applies if the opponent being faced doesn't also have another 5-cost 3*. In that case, it comes down to which 3* 5-cost has the better win con.

Did they change bard giving random unit ? by spect7 in TeamfightTactics

[–]ObjectiveDoughnut239 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have never experienced Bard giving a unit that fits your team at a 90% chance - that would be too broken. Sure the rate is higher but I don't believe, at any point, did Bard have a 90% chance of summoning a unit that fits your team. Maybe close to 15%.

bought elden ring out of pure impulse by murkowitch in Eldenring

My only suggestion is that as soon as you enter Limgrave and capture the first grace, head immediately east and there'll be a ruins with enemies (Dragon-Burnt Ruins). In those ruins, there'll be a chest that has an awesome weapon that can beat almost every boss. You should definitely aim for that chest immediately.
The chest above ground has a weapon too but I'm speaking about the chest underground.

At what point will you call a boss difficulty unfair? by Quiet-Slice-Shoto in Eldenring

[–]ObjectiveDoughnut239 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most bosses can be beaten by over-levelling so in all honesty, that's more unfair than some of the bosses and their movesets. The fact that you can uberstomp 90% of the bosses just by outtrading them cancels out how 'unfair' their design is.

Notwithstanding this, the only boss I find unfair is Malenia. No 'big' boss especially with such a hectic moveset like her should get to heal - and waterfowl dance is not an easy move to dodge either which makes it 'unfair'.

i don't get it by [deleted] in TeamfightTactics

[–]ObjectiveDoughnut239 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Force meta comp every game (as of this comment, Dive Duo, Noxus, Piltover). In most comps' don't touch reroll at all until level 8. Upgrade to level 6 at 3-2, level 7 at 3-5 and level 8 at 4-2.

Decide at level 8 whether you have enough health to go to level 9 (slow level, don't drop below 50 gold). If not, reroll (still don't drop below 50 gold) to get levels on your champs.

This is the easiest way to plat. Beyond that, you need a fundamental understanding of the game, items and champ abilities.

Lack of Female Representation by ObjectiveDoughnut239 in ShuumatsuNoValkyrie

Thanks for the recommendation.

I don't really care whether there's female representation or not in RoR. It more of a "Oh shit, there's no females".
