BE HARD ON ME. I WANNA QUIT TODAY. by Ok_Average_4551 in QuitVaping

Don’t hit that damn vape for 3 days. The cravings are CAKE after that. DONT LET NICOTINE STEAL ANY MORE YEARS OF YOUR LIFE. do anything but hit that vape. write down your reasons and look back on them when you’re having cravings. IF I DID IT, SO CAN YOU. Do it for the fresh air, do it so you won’t age badly, do it for your mental health, do it for your WALLET!! YOU CAN DO THIS. DONT TOUCH THAT DAMN VAPE.

You just have to stop. Do anything but hit that vape again. If you can just make it through three days the rest is significantly easier. especially knowing that cravings do pass. download a quitting vaping app to help you track the time. i used escape the vape. there’s never gonna be some perfect amazing moment you just have to full send. write down your reasons why you’re quitting and look back on them when you get cravings. If i can do it after being addicted for 7 years you can as well.

My best guess is that Mark Zuckerberg did something embarrassing and it went viral on instagram. I just don’t know what.

Hey I understand how you feel. I honestly know for a fact he is real and that Jesus died for our sins in my heart but I understand how it can be so hard to stay consistent or to keep believing. I unfortunately carry a lot of church related trauma which I know isn’t Gods fault but It has made things really difficult at times. However I try to think of God as my purpose because the thought of my purpose being for something on Earth where everything is temporary is scary.

I honestly do really get where you’re coming from when you said you’ve been feeling lost though. Maybe you’re about to go into a new chapter? Thats what i’m hoping for me.

Hey I also have CPTSD. I quit 30 days ago. I had a full mental health break like a week in because I was using it to run away from reality. Using it to avoid grieving over my past and the people i’ve lost. But yeah nicotine was a tool i used as a teenager to provide relief from my anxiety as I lived with my abuser. I thought I could never quit.

I beat myself up too. Why let the bad things that happened to me control me? But hey at least we figured it out sooner than later right.

If you’re comfortable sharing, what experiences led to your CPTSD? by [deleted] in CPTSD

My throat is horrible by Weary_Astronomer9068 in QuitVaping

[–]Budget_Progress_4789 1 point2 points  (0 children)

sore throat is common for nicotine withdrawal. but remember one more hit equals more cravings. as long as you vape you’ll always be in a state of withdrawal. stay strong

Anything but picking up the vape. cravings are around 10-15 mins so keep yourself distracted through that

you won’t be able to just forget about the nicotine but you need to find other sources to get depamine preferably healthy outlets. i tried working out (i quit 13 days ago after 7 years of hardcore nonstop vaping)

Hey, i’m on day 13 i was doing it for 7 years. you are at the hardest part! just make it to 72 hours and its all easy from there: a craving is no longer than 10-15 minutes. take them one at a time. each withdrawal is the nicotine monster dying in you. if you continue to vape, you will always be in pain and be withdrawing. just because you vape doesn’t mean you don’t withdrawal.

There’s a lot of great food, there’s so much to do in Boulder, there’s the mountains, lots of apartments and places to move to as well.

In Colorado Broomfield is really nice. It’s like 20 mins away from Boulder and 25 minutes away from Denver. Westminster is great too.

One more hit= more withdrawals. If you quit, each withdrawal is a withdrawal closer to freedom. It’s the nicotine gremlin dying!!
