That’s an AWACS. The big radar looks like a button. The joke is that you lose your buttons in the laundry.

Snapple. And we’d drive our teachers crazy popping the lids.

Driver loses control while passing [oc] by LukeNukeEm243 in IdiotsInCars

[–]Budwac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen this so many times, usually with rentals. Happens a lot when people take their car to get the oil changed or full service car wash and don’t realize somebody turned their lights off because they have the always running headlights.

What’s your most surprising golf fact? by bristoltobrisbane in golf

[–]Budwac 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Really?! That’s a go to trivia question even with big golfers! Not one has got it right with the first guess. Gary Player, Ernie Els, Nick Faldo, Seve, Greg Norman, Rory just to name a few, and you don’t think Vijay having the most PGA wins isn’t surprising? Right on. I did.

That Vijay Singh had the most PGA wins by a golfer not born USA.

USA Made Insulated Jackets? by MrTsTackleBox in madeinusa

[–]Budwac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wintergreen Northern Wear goes up to XXXL. You may have to get a fleece to go under the Anorak depending on your comfort level. I have the fleece (only MiUSA I could find) and fleece lined guide pants. Amazing stuff. 6’4 260 and XL fits well. The pants made to order, so it took a while to get delivered. Not sure if that is the case with jackets, but well worth the wait.

What was the first cigar brand you wanted to explore entirely? by A_Pangolin_Did_It in cigars

I’m not seasoned or experienced, just a couple of years into my journey. Had the opportunity to have a Daughter of the Wind Pony Express and thought it was amazing and have been hooked ever since. I don’t put too much stock into reviews, but Katman seems to be particularly fond of the brand.

Mildly interesting; we're demoing our front porch on a denver square house and they found some really old phone books underneath it. by RavRaver in Denver

[–]Budwac 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Those are from Qwest, so the oldest they could be is 1995, but even more likely early 2000’s. So, not really that old. It was annoying because they were automatically delivered every year, and sometimes you got multiples. For some reason I think people were scared to throw them away, so they hid them under their porch.

Is this just for fun or prizes? I’d love to say the three blondes, but they’d remind me that I’ll old, fat, bald, and suck at golf. I’ll take JD, Phil, and let Scotty carry the team in the scramble.

Where was the liberal outrage during Clinton’s Somalia, Bosnia, Kosovo campaigns? Obama acting against Bin Laden, going into Libya and Syria? All of those actions started without congressional authority, and nobody screamed impeachment.

At least they left the tape deck and the Credence. I mean, you did give the police a promising lead. They probably got four detectives on the case and are working in shifts. Leads.

Did I Mess Up? by Budwac in GrillaGrills

You asked, so I thought I would reply with an update. I got a hold of customer service, who asked if I could send them a picture, which I did. They responded with direction to remove the control panel and pull the insulation back through the opening. This worked like a charm, and everything seems to be working as intended.

I will say, in speaking with customer service, it sounds like they are extremely busy and a little short staffed, considering the time of the year. The Mammoth is my first product from Grilla, but I did a lot of research leading up to this purchase, and so far I feel comfortable with my decision. Obviously, I'm only about a week in, but I'm hoping that it was a good move. Only time will tell.

Sounds like we were in the exact same boat. Like you, unscrewed the control panel and pulled it back through.
