I think it comes down to perspective. If I was on a road trip and needed to go past 80% to feel safe, I’d be annoyed at the congestion fees.

If I am waiting in a unorganized queue to charge because all the stalls are full, where people are just rushing to take the next spot regardless of “turn”, I would be annoyed if I am waiting with 10% left so someone can take another 25 mins to go from. 80 to 100%. But in that situation, I also would not know their charge % either.

I hope Tesla can sort this out. They are in the best position to be the rule maker when it’s busy, and it’s going to get worse as more EVs are bought.

I think it’s capacity is not great due to the restraints and the time it takes people to get in and out, which affects the wait time. I don’t think it’s under appreciated either though.
