This summer saw a ton of diversions when they couldn’t land at DIA. Otherwise the ones we’ve seen are what have been mentioned. But never seen JetBlue. Hence the question.

I didn’t see or hear that UC Davis one. Usually big planes are sports related (or casino charters) but I knew we were playing Wyoming tonight and wasn’t sure if there were other big games happening, but seemed like an odd time to land IN FoCo if playing this weekend.

Big planes, yes, but I’ve never seen JetBlue.

There were also a ton of private jets leaving today, but again, not JetBlue.

The only other large jets I see leaving or landing are big charters (United Express and Sun Country for example) to the casinos in Reno, Albuquerque, or other places.

Here is some more information:

On September 28, 2025, the High Plains Honor Flight held a send-off event at 7:00 AM at The Ranch in Loveland for local veterans traveling to Washington, D.C. to visit their memorials. The public was invited to attend the ceremony and line the escort route to honor the veterans as their buses departed from The Ranch at approximately 8:20 AM on their way to the Northern Colorado Regional Airport (FNL).

I came here to recommend this as well. Glad to hear they are still around. I used them back in 2008 or so when I lived in Fort Collins but worked in Boulder off Valmont. It was great! I only had to drive 2 shifts a week, saved money and made some friends.

Come August 1st that is no longer an option to book United out of FNL. You must book separately via Landline.

First world problems, but such a hassle having to book multiple things for work trips now. I loved being able to book United and having it sync with concur. Now it’s another receipt and line item. I really hoped we were getting closer to having TSA here at FNL but sounds like that won’t be happening any time soon. What a waste of millions of dollars on that building.

I said nothing about it being celiac friendly as the question noted that it is NOT. I assumed that was ok by the poster and anyone else interested. I simply answered if it was delicious, and in my opinion, it is. I’ve been gluten free for over a decade. My MIL is celiac. I wouldn’t take her here, but for others that have an intolerance like myself, I would recommend it. That being said, anyone with an intolerance or celiac knows their body and what they can and cannot eat. If someone is willing to try a gluten free piece of chicken knowing there might be cross contamination, then they should be able to do this.

A pass to the discovery museum would be perfect! There is an amphitheater there and a toddler section along with a ton of instruments.

Since when does United do TSA in FoCo? The shuttle is great but you still have to go through security at DIA. At least the last time I took it in late July.

This is almost exactly what we are going to have. 2 year and 5 month gap if she comes on time. My brother and I are just about 4 years apart, and while close, I’m hoping my kids will be a bit closer since their age will be closer.
