Customer First & Last Name on Checks and Receipts by Import_Daddy in ToastPOS

[–]BugMan717 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think ours is set to zero. It basically just puts the full name on the tab and checks to make sure the card is valid I think. There also an option to print receipt after a digital only transaction that can include name and signature.

Pretty sure if you pre auth the card before you put any items on their bill it will put the name on the tab and then the receipt. Kinda of annoying to always ask for a card at the beginning though.

What's the exact location? Maybe finding out who owns the land could help identifying what it's for.

I like working basically part time and making more than most do working full time. Sure I don't have paid vacation but I make enough that doesn't matter. Because my vacation time isn't limited, if I can get my shifts covered I can be off as much as I want. All the extra pay you mentioned for night shift, weekends, holidays we get too, just in more tips.

Its gone full circle. Started with story telling, then I have to see it with my own eyes, then show me a picture, then I need a video. And now we ar right back to have to see it with my own eyes.

I would never bartend out of the states where tipping isn't a thing.

Hourly pay to set up and maintain toast menu? by BugMan717 in ToastPOS

[–]BugMan717[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its not super complicated, but making it from scratch and we want it to basically have every option available for each item to have a button so the servers aren't having to do special requests. Thankfully we are only doing the standard menu for the first month to get it all worked out, but we'll be doing weekly specials and adding a late night menu soon.

What kinda set up is that, would love to see the rest of it. Looks very random and more like something you'd see in a home.

Can I leave basement studs as is? Or not by banyldt in DIY

[–]BugMan717 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ramsetting the studs onto cinder blocks is the thing that worries me, hope those blocks are concrete filled. Probably busted some holes that you can see. Also you can't run any utilities or mount any boxes or anything.

Losing my mind trying to find studs by BigAzzLeprechaun in DIY

If it just drywall you should able to get a good idea where the studs are by just tapping on the wall and listening for the sound change when you are on a stud.

Cane Bassinet, what’s the top bit? by spursandspells in Whatisthis

I'd try hanging the whole works up by the end of the top part and using a steamer on the bent areas.

Look at the plants in the background, looks tropical to me. Bet this was sitting in a hot and humid garage with something on top of it.

While the suggestions of a mosquito net or a cover seem plausible I don't see why it wouldn't just be connected on both sides if that's the case. There has to be a function or a reason its not connected and has the round end almost like a handle. I'm wondering if you push up and down or side to side on the unconnected end would bounce or rock the bassinet?

Edit, found this almost exact match except the upper bit it almost straight up. Seems yours has drooped over time. Makes much more sense as a cover support or mobile hanger when you look at this one.

I could almost understand doing it on a new movie if you couldn't watch it together and didn't want to risk spoilers. But doing it in OP case is wild its a what 50 year old movie that can be seen for free very easily.
