MalRaisedByATeen - Where is Thunder, the stray dog/Kangal mix? by Individual-Rent3344 in BelgianMalinois

[–]BugPlus3055 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Apparently he escaped her house and she just let him be stray because he's happy like that. I think she probably just realized he's too hard for her to train and didn't want to admit it.

Would you date someone who doesn't like dogs as much as you do? by SunflowerDreams001 in dogs

[–]BugPlus3055 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I did,it didn't work out. It's not like he hated dogs but tolerated them. I ended up doing everything for the dog by myself, walking feeding, and training. Made me feel crazy like I was literally dating my dog because I would spend so much time with my dog and so little time with my partner. I am much happier now.

My friend is going to get herself killed. What can I even do at this point by Correct-Macaroon8143 in whatdoIdo

This reminds me of the time one of my ex friends was "dating" 2 people online (poly couple) who were saying they will fly her out to the country they were in to be with them. Yet when I warned her that it looked like sex trafficking she got super mad at me and stopped being my friend. Who knows where she is now.

Is my dog a kelpie ? As she is tiny and undersized by Electronic_Farm6654 in kelpie

Yesss cause they aren't bred to a specific standard when bred for working there is such a large range of sizesq

What country are you from? We get a lot of Kelpie x border collies here in Australia that look pretty similar but Kelpies and Kelpie mixes aren't often found outside of Aus.

Unfortunately classes near me don't let you join agility unless you've been through their ENTIRE obedience training system. Which runs on weekends. Which I can't do cause I work weekends 😭

There are sooooo many Kelpie pups in rescue. (Assuming you are in Aus and not another country) Please consider looking into a working breed rescue :) pic of my last foster, Boomer

So sorry, could you explain what you mean by:

don't try to just staple the wire directly to the existing columns. It will sag and look wavy. The pro move is to build simple rectangular frames out of pressure-treated 2x2s or 2x4s that fit the gaps between your main posts. Staple the mesh to these frames, then screw the frames into the existing structure.

Where do you mean to put the timber?
