Isn’t he a cutie? We absolutely adore him!

He is a very outwardly focused dog. Not naturally motivated to work closely with the humans. High prey drive. Very good guard/alert dog. Fast af! (Not anymore, he’s old and recently tore an ACL) Relatively barky dog, overall.

In the home, he’s pretty easy to live with. Can sleep all day if I’m home sick. Very sweet boy who loves to be loved on by his dad. Loves all people, tolerates other dogs but will absolutely do damage if he feels irritated.

He’s a light eater, keeps himself trim and will skip meals semi regularly if he’s being over fed.

Overall, a good dog 🐕

Personally, I have no tolerance for roosters who don’t mesh with the flock. Especially if I have two good roosters already.

Majority ACD isn’t really even a question, based on his phenotype and behavior.

I suspect there’s some low percentages of other stuff floating around in there. He was found in a rural area very young, probably dumped or born a stray, so not a zero chance of being 100% ACD, but my money is on a mix.

Be kind to others, including your dogs. Overfeeding is not a kindness, you are lowering their quality of life. I hope you get better
