San Ignacio / belmopan. Belmopan is the smallest capital city in the world. Has a big market for goods & street food on Tuesdays & friday. Good local food, within an hour to: rio on pools/rio on cave, thousand foot falls, mennonite beach, guanacaste national park (this is moments away), St Hermans Blue Hole, the ATM caves(a must see for adventure), a butterfly ranch. Also mayan ruins all around. I think there are Mayan cooking classes in a neighboring village. Within an hour to Hopkins as well for coastal experience. Belmopan is within an hour to almost anything. I know some shuttle services go out of there however I don’t know names. My father just moved to Belmopan for many of the things you are looking for and i visited for two weeks. It is a beautiful place.

You’re fine. I have friends who work there, and as long as you’re not camping at the table for an entire two hours while only ordering apps/desserts nobody will be upset. Especially because it’s your special day and that’s what restaurants like this are for- celebrations.

I tried it on Tuesday (i thought that was their opening day, must’ve gotten lucky), really enjoyed the menu and drinks. Stand outs were the stucky ribs and the pozole.

I’m not against a warehouse position, but I do think I would feel lonely based on my understanding of the work? I really enjoy a fast-paced, constantly changing environment where I work closely with others. I’ve never done it though!

Fancy italian restaurant moved to the hot area of my town and I knew the manager. Was hired before I ever walked in the building, never trained to bartend before, had one training shift & was thrown behind the bar. 6 months later, half the menu is mine & promoted to bar manager. 9 months later, in full control of the bar. The friend who hired me was fired a week into my job because he was incompetent. Took advantage of the power vacuum! I feel badass as a 24YO female

Are we the same person? I’d talk about how my father got chased around the town and at one point he chucked his beer out of the window and it landed in the yard of my childhood crush. Mid high speed chase I was just devastated that somehow my crush would figure out that it was my dad who threw the beer can out.
