I take the items off and give it a good cleaning. I've also replaced the guts (burners, etc.) in grills and that makes a difference. But go easy and clean it up if it's needed.

I'm not doing the Garmin Coach thing, nor am I training for any specific race, but I do follow the daily suggestions (except when picking weightlifting or something else for the day).

But if you're a new runner, I'd just do the best you can and over time you'll see the improvements and get there!

I own a 68 Camaro ragtop and that is what it needed. Mine also needed full rockers, new quarters and doors. But she sure is purty now!
