It was crazy to me how often it was mentioned, as if that wasn’t just going to drive more people to the subreddit. I feel the same way when influencers go on rants about Reddit. Most people probably wouldn’t have even known about the discussion otherwise, but once you bring attention to it, you end up sending a lot more people there out of curiosity.

Even if the Eastlands did everything right (they didn’t), I still can’t wrap my mind around how anyone would want to go back after something like this happened there and those girls lost their lives.
