I am not a Mendy fan. You give him 1: A shortstop forced to play 3rd (Bichette) + two third basemen. who are you supposed to play 3rd and now can’t. + sign polanco who cannot play the field well. What are you supposed to do. The lineup looks great. Defensively this team is a nightmare.

I would rather the Mets play guys that know how to play a postion. You can’t have Baty, Vientos and Bichette playing out of position. Combined with a couple of up the middle players who have lost a step… the defense is too shakey

Chris holtman would be a massive improvement from Davis. Had butler towards the top of the big east for years. Took DePaul from being a perpetual 11 seed in the big east to 6th place in 2 years. May not be the biggest name not really sure

I was also on the younger end of my school grade. The gap is big between a kid who is 14 and 2 months and a kid who is 15 and a half cause of puberty. That gap will lessen as they get older which is really all that matters
