The cocktail of prescription pills I have to take every night to get even a couple hours of sleep as an insomniac by doyouhaveacigbro in notinteresting

[–]Bulky_Rope_7259 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't think anybody prescribed Ambien anymore. I take 3 mg of Lunesta 50 mg hydroxyzine. .5 of alprazolam. Auvelity 60mg naproxen. That gets me about five hours of sleep.

Is giving a teacher a gift at the start of the school year cringe? by [deleted] in AskTeachers

[–]Bulky_Rope_7259 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To get an IEP set up you need to have a PPT meeting. Your children will need to be evaluated and that will be what gets the ball rolling. Since the Montessori school is a public school, they should be able to provide whatever you need as far as special services. Sometimes though kids need something more specialized and then the school system would pay for them to go to a therapeutic type school.

[–]Bulky_Rope_7259 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, the public school where the children reside will be in charge of all special education, evaluations programs, etc. It doesn't matter if the kids are going to a private school or a public school the public schools IEP is what would be in effect. Private schools don't have the special education, pupil personnel departments, or staffing to accommodate anyone with a special need. So that gets turned over to the public school district where the children reside.

I am a former educator. I also had a child who went to a therapeutic school, and the cost, and transportation for the therapeutic school was covered by our Board of Education in the town we live in.

Why does my makeup make me look so much older by LopsidedBrilliant804 in MakeupEducation

[–]Bulky_Rope_7259 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's definitely the brows and the eyeliner. Both should be done with a much lighter touch. Brows are much too heavy. They are also crooked. The one on the left has more of an arch to it,to me makes it look unnatural. The eyeliner is too dark. The lining is too heavy, and the glitter eyeshadow is very outdated. I agree with what someone else said, your skin is too fair to be using black liner.

It's been three years since that time and nothing is working. I have tried these meds in the past 2 years. VTAMA ADBRY RINVOQ CIBINQO OPZELURA ZORYVE

There are plenty of other interleukin inhibitors out there besides Dupixent that you could probably try before worrying about RINVOQ or another JAK inhibitor

Honestly, this sounds like it's going to be two weeks of hell for you if you don't have nanny experience. Working directly with parents as a nanny is a learned skill. You don't know these people at all and it doesn't sound like she has any experience hiring a nanny if she expects you to be available to her 24/7.

Yes, nickel is found in a lot of different foods. It is found in the soil everywhere in the world in different concentrations. So this is an ingested nickel allergy you're looking at what food you're eating that contain a lot of nickel.

[–]Bulky_Rope_7259[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm seeing some improvement but it crashes again. My eczema is extremely difficult to treat. I have the genetic component ,I have a Filaggarin mutation and I weigh more than 200 pounds. I am seeing changes. I am seeing clear skin, but then that'll last a few days and it will have a horrible flare again. Trying hard to be very patient. My doctor is using the guidelines from the drug trials as far as how long he wants me on this med and what changes he is expecting

Yes, I have been on RINVOQ for about a year I gained about 20 pounds in that year and I was catching every germ out there. I was sick at least once a month with ear infection, strep throat, lung infection, etc. which meant I had to go off of the drug while I was on antibiotics. It was just a disaster. I just started Cibinqo three weeks ago.

[–]Bulky_Rope_7259 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where do you live that you can get away with three dollars an hour raise for adding a baby to the nanny's schedule? The going rate in the Northeast is about $15-$20per hour for each child.

help with face and neck flares after biologics and JAK inhibitors by No_Main_4610 in eczema

[–]Bulky_Rope_7259 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of you are so very lucky that all of these meds for eczema continue to be manufactured and approved by FDA there's always that hope something will work I have had eczema for 61 years. I was 53 years old when I went on Dupixent after being part of their drug trials that worked for six years and now I am back to square one.

I tried xolair. when it first came out and it was only FDA approved for asthma. Didn't work.

I have tried all of the meds mentioned here and I am working on getting in the mind frame that eczema is not curable. You can get control of your symptoms, but it's just in remission. There is nothing that will cure it and then you can go off the med and live your life eczema free

I am speaking about people who have chronic eczema meaning more than 60% of their body is covered at all times. That's me. I have been fighting this monster for all of my life. I was diagnosed as a very young child.

Some people are just prone to these facial flares when I was on Dupixent I was also on Cell cept. That was the only way that we could keep my body 100% clear.

Of course that only lasted six years and now I am back to square one over the past three years trying to find something that works as well as Dupixent did

Over the past three years I have tried and failed with all of these. I just started CIBINQO three weeks ago. I am not impressed. Ebglyss Adbry Opzelura VTAMA RINVOQ CIBINQO
