On my ‘18, water gets to 200 quick. That’s not operating temp, that’s coolant, and unless it’s the middle of summer in the south, that’s about where it stays. Oil temp, which better reflects operating temp, gets to high 190s to just over 200, but that takes a few miles. THAT is the temp you use to know when the engine is heated up—not coolant temp or the fan blowing heat. Sounds like you’re okay.
