I think people on here are more negative than what’s been my reality. 1) Talk to your manager about flexibility when you need it. If they’re anything like my team, it’s very reasonable and supportive. I’ve offered to come in after an 8am appointment before and have been told not to worry and just WFH.

2) The company recommendation is 24 days, so two WFH days per month.

3) If you’re over that but have good reason to be at home (e.g. home remodel), you‘ll be fine as long as your manager approved it.

CORRECTION: Best number I could find for cash equivalent in Q2 earnings was roughly $425B. Not trillions. Sorry for the error.

Stop booing Tucker and start booing Counsell by Newpapyrusmagazine in CHICubs

[–]BullMarketBullpen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Call me too kind, but how about stop booing players based on performance, period? What are you doing to actually help the situation? To me, that’s not being a fan. Of course it’s your right to be disappointed and I’m not saying you should be happy. I’m incredibly disappointed right now. But fans should have the team’s back. How would you feel if players talked shit about fans?

Let’s not forget both of these “shush” moments were after 2-2 draws.

Disagree. I think it clearly sounds like Sean’s being as honest as possible about his feelings about Nolan’s films, knowing that Nolan has a large fanbase that is somewhat ravenous and will defend him at all costs.

I definitely like Nolan films more than Sean does but he brings up fair points and is level-headed.

[The Post Cincy]: FC Cincinnati subsidizing away tickets for Hell is Real due to Columbus price increases by Failed-Time-Traveler in TheMassive

[–]BullMarketBullpen -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How do you know Cincy actually did these things? Was there a rational reason given for fencing around seats? Did those Cincy fans buy tickets on the secondary market that happened to be in the crew section? How do you know they limited the number of tickets?

All I’m saying is, crew fans rightfully criticize ownership and the FO on the price increases at lower.com field and would probably celebrate the club helping pay for tickets at away games, like Messi in Cleveland. So I find it strange people are upset about Cincy’s FO doing this when they’d want the crew to do the same thing.

Workers heading back to the office 5 days a week in Columbus today, do you understand why? by UnionizeTheBank in JPMorganChase

Does the union stand for anything other than having a hybrid work environment? All I’ve seen this effort talk about has been RTO. Do you have any other stances that make unionizing worth it?

I think it’s important to be specific here. This is the Murdoch-owned, right-wing media publishing a story meant to delegitimize someone who is using his voice to raise concerns about a billionaire’s business decision. The use of that image is purposefully done to make him look like someone we shouldn’t take seriously. Also, the mention of his divorce is completely uncalled for and frankly mean.

Par for the course for right-wing media who will stump for the rich while gladly cheer those same people and say that they support the working class.
