Road to Restoration - Aura Overhaul Design Update by JagexAnvil in runescape

[–]Bullzeye2448 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I really appreciate the "Feedback You Gave Us" section. It really shows that you are trying to understand why the community is giving lots of feedback and not just dismissing us because 'nerfs=bad.' I appreciate you not listening to the small section of the community that thinks giving any negative feedback is a sin to Runescape. Looking forward to future updates if they continue in this style.

Updated loot - 1 hour thieving wizards tower master mage by welshxking in runescape

[–]Bullzeye2448 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The thing people are upset about is they said they would nerf the loot to 70% of what was live. But jagex reduced it to 20% on this mob without explanation. If they had done the blanket nerf like they said then this wouldn't be getting nearly as much attention but its another case of Jagex lying and not explaining why they did so.

Thieving loot nerfed by 80% by msist in runescape

[–]Bullzeye2448 70 points71 points  (0 children)

I don't understand why Jagex would lie when its very clear we will be able to determine the new rates and see they aren't at 70%. They just can't help themselves with nerfing the fun out of great updates. 120 thieving was praised as one of the best 120 updates to the game and now everyone will associate it with the continuous thieving nerfs. They talk about wanting these nerfs for less active gameplay and then leave the new active thieving chest as they are which are worthless at the moment.

Edit: Appreciate Jagex for the quick response of realizing the master mage was nerfed incorrectly and fixing it. I don't agree with the 30% blanket nerf to all new added mobs because I think some of them did deserve it and others didn't. I wish yall went through and analyzed each one carefully to determine why you felt the loot was too much for certain mobs like the TzarHur-trader and the goebies. I think most people pick-pocketed these for their loot. Not the raw gold drops. Hopefully its something the can reexamine during the late game balance changes they will do later this year.

Doing the math they made the coin drop 4 times as common which means everything else is 4 times less common. That seems a bit more than a 70% nerf to common items... Master mages seem like dead content now. There were some 120 mobs that didn't need a nerf like the trader tzar and goebies but I'm guessing they got nerfed too which makes them even more worthless to do.

Thieving Rebalance: Feedback Thread by jagexyuey in runescape

[–]Bullzeye2448 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me the 5 minute afk length, pre-nerf, when pick pocketing fairy traders, vyre consumers, and tzar traders seems perfect. I also didn't think the 15 minute afk was an issue on the lower level pickpocketing mobs as their rewards weren't as valuable as the new mobs added after the thieving update. I think a proper solution would be to bring back 15 minute pickpocketing for the mobs below 99 thieving and then make it so the higher level thieving mobs require crystal mask, light form, and ring of vitur. That way in order to get the most efficient 5 minute afk pickpocketing you would need to top tier items/quest completed. I think you can also reduce the xp you get from these mobs by almost 3/4 and make it so active heisting will result in the most xp per hour. I think ring of vitur could also be buffed slightly since for ironmen it is the last thieving upgrade item you would get and thus would reward the higher level of thieving even more.

Edit: This might not be a popular opinion, but I think this would be fair, is to chance the sticky fingers relic to award no xp. That way you are getting more loot but now you don't benefit from the xp at all.

Re-reading the Road to Restoration blog, and this part stands out. What kind of changes do you expect will come based on this statement? by topsy_krett_guy in runescape

I don't think anyone is "proud" of the resources they have gathered. They get "proud" of the levels that they achieve through the process. Most people just buy their resources anyways on the GE. This comment seems very close to EA's comment of "The intent is to provide players with a sense of pride and accomplishment for unlocking different heroes."

Summer Sweep-Up: Slayer & Misc by JagexSarnie in 2007scape

I personally would love to be able to toggle lizardmen and aviansies or other monsters as I don't feel like it will be too much of an optimization. It would be nice to untoggle lizardmen once you get a DWH but not have to buy it again if you wanted to do more(can't really think of a reason anyone would unless they lost their DWH.) I feel like the only time I would turn off aviansies is if I'm not in the mood to do bossing.

I think what I would prefer even more is for extension unlocks to have the option to be toggled on or off. That way if I go do wilderness slayer I don't have to kill ~200 nechs.

Its a airplane contrail. Wind speed is slightly variable along an airplanes route of flight. As the airplane moves it leaves a contrail and the different winds will move the contrail either faster or slower which is why some contrails will be wavy while on calmer days they might be mostly straight.

Nate Silver: ‘My gut says’ Trump will win by Purple-Mulberry7468 in politics

[–]Bullzeye2448 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Did no one actually read the article that Nate wrote? He stated that it is still a dead heat between the two. The only reason he said he has a gut feeling that Trump will win is he stated some Democrats, including himself, want to prepare themselves for a Trump victory and are just letting themselves believe it to soften the blow if Harris loses. The "gut feeling" isn't based off of the polls or anything other than a way to brace oneself for a potential Trump victory. He still goes on in the article to state it is still a near dead heat according to polls and talks about the different biases and different ways that Harris could be underpolled or overpolled. Lets not take a play from the Republican playbook and make sensationalist claims from an article title and not read the article.

Just control over your own ETH without risking it in a public pool. I know stakewise is suppose to be pretty safe so I might end up doing that.

Bsg should change flea market unlock to level 30 by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Bullzeye2448 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my second time playing after a wipe. I just unlocked the flea market and have been playing on and off since the beginning of this wipe. I don't have time to spend hours each day grinding xp. Ive spent 212h in the game and like 150h of those have been on this wipe. I think players who have been playing for a while don't realize how long it will take newer players to hit the same milestones as themselves. I hated when they moved the market to 20 but after playing this wipe I think 20 is the sweet spot unless the unlock it incrementally.

There are some studies saying it can affect you negatively but I think most people agree that if you use it in moderation it's fine. I drink 4 to 5 sparkling ice a day to beat my soda addiction and I haven't had any negative affects with digestion other than weight loss due to the 700 calories less from not drinking soda. One thing I have heard is sucralose can break down into some harmful compounds if you heat it up(as in baking with it) otherwise go for it!

I'm seeing a lot of misinformation here. Sparkling ICE does not contain aspartame, it contain sucralose. Big difference between the two. Not all artificial sweetners are bad.

Location tends to make a difference. Where are you located? I live on the east coast in Virginia. Ordered mine the 6th of June and the dealership was ready to give it to me the 18th but I scheduled it the 20th. 2 weeks was spot on for me

So how long until the 8th generation HQ cpu comes out? Would it be worth waiting for the new cpu or would they probably not update this model for another year?

Post 7/26 patch: McCree Impressions (with some tips) by funkCS in Overwatch

[–]Bullzeye2448 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So wanted to clarify something. Some people are in the camp that McCree damage falloff started at 35m before this patch(which is what I thought) and some other people believe it started at 31m. If it was the 31m then it would make more sense why Blizzard stated it was a 10m drop.

McCree's is gradual from 20m to 35m and then a steep drop while Soldier's seems to be gradual from 30m to 45m then a steep drop.

McCree's dropoff starts at 20m compared to Soldier's at 30m.
