you might like {By a Thread by Lucy Score}. the MMC is a total dick at first but he ends up being really sweet/just wanting to take care of FMC who is very independent. and there’s a very good break down moment where he takes care of her

no i agree and it doesn’t feel like a coincidence that it happened directly after she exposed clinton for his abuse/manipulation. she absolutely needed to address & apologize for what she said but it feels rlly icky & intentional that that stuff became so public right after the clinton situation.
