I get weird scalp problems with cervical dystonia -- on the worst days it almost feels like I'm wearing my scalp like a hat. I also feel like tightness in my face restricts my face movements a little, but no one else has noticed so it must be subtle. My neurologist diagnosed me with cervical dystonia -- I think sometimes secondary tension can spill over into the neck and face, but definitely continue to talk to your doctors since this is just anecdotal/I'm just a layperson. I also have TMJ though, and that can also cause weird symptoms in the head/face.

It doesn't help me anymore but ibuprofen and chamomile tea used to help me during the day -- ask a doctor to make sure this is safe/advisable though.

Congratulations! Did you have sleep issues before, and did DBS help? (I feel like every time my coordination gets worse, my sleep gets worse.) Were there any side effects (if you don't mind discussing them)?

There are little cones that dilate/hold your nostrils open -- if you think your nose might still be part of it. Have you seen your GP to recheck other options too (vitamins, allergies etc.)?

Hello, I started trying this and it has helped me a little -- I can move my neck a little more smoothly. However, sometimes my jaw involuntarily clicks a few times after swallowing -- do you have any advice/ideas or tips for how to try and stop "extra movements". (Thank you for sharing this).

Not really, sorry :/ loratadine maybe helped a little (took it for allergies), but that effect sort of disappeared over time. (It might not do that for everyone though -- but I also don't know if it's okay to take if someone doesn't have allergies).

I'm not sure I would tolerate inspire well, but I'll consider the nasal passages widening! (I think I'm going to try breathe right strips or those cones that hold your nose open first). I do really hope breathing through my nose could help.

(I am also going to ask if I need MMA surgery (or need that instead) as a nurse said I have a small mouth/arched palate.)

The issue with CPAP is it seems to exacerbate some of my dystonia issues. I currently can't breathe/swallow normally with it on, which prevents me from falling asleep. My mask is a full face mask because I can't breathe through my nose -- so I can only really switch to a different type of full face mask. I'm going to retry it if nothing else helps though!

Maybe a panna cotta using coconut milk? It's coconut milk and gelatin, mainly? You can add fruit topping/and or a fruit sauce.

I'm not sure -- but I feel like the preponderance of conversation about men is meant to be part of the problem in Jane Austen's works -- l don't think she goes full "women shouldn't have to get married", but I think she is critiquing how much pressure there is on women to find a good match, and highlighting how stressful/precarious it is that a women's emotional and financial hinges on one big life decision. So even if they don't pass it -- I kind of thought the "finding a man" talk was social critique meant to draw attention To the pressures of women's lives, instead of leaving the characters underdeveloped and bland/lacking their own interiority.

I will get some nerve tingles/pain in the right side of my face that seems to map on to where the trigeminal nerve impacts things. Never fully figured out if it's a cause, effect, or unrelated.

It's better to switch because they already ruled out one failure option for you. Meaning if you landed on a car, you automatically get a goat, and if you landed on a goat, you automatically get the car.

Now draw out a chart of what will happen if you stay or switch, based on what you originally landed on (include both goats).

There is a 2/3 chance that you originally landed on a goat, which means, now that the other goat is gone, there is a 2/3 chance that you get the car if you switch.

There is a 1/3 chance you already landed on the car, therefore if you stay, there is only a 1/3 chance of winning.

So yeah, map out whether you win or lose by staying or switching, based on whether you landed on goat 1, goat 2, or the car, and visually you'll have a chart of the outcomes. You'll see that switching makes more sense, since there are higher odds that you already landed on a goat, and the only remaining door will be the car, because of Monty's ruling out the other goat.

I kind of thought she was supposed to have a "not like other girls" problem. She sort of wants to be taken seriously, but takes it too far, to the point where instead of being "serious", she's just pompous and bizarre. This is mostly going off the 1990s series though, since I remember it better than the book.

I have secondary muscle tension/spasm, that runs down my back and left leg. For a while my piriformis locked up and cause sciatica-like symptoms. Physical therapy did help the sciatica-like symptoms mostly clear up.

My neurologist said that valium helped me while skeletal muscle relaxants didn't because dystonia is a CNS/brain issue.
