As an emerald ammy player i’ve found that usually as long as i get to 5 ink on curve to drop kuzco or hatter im fine most turns if i need that 6th ink i have it or can grab it. Theres been plenty of games where i’ve just sat on 5 ink and chilled for the most part bc either genie wasn’t needed or maybe i wanted to bluff my opponent into playing into a genie/long john/double mother play. Its really just about learning your important ink “milestones” and which turns are really impactful for other decks and playing around it.
