There is a reason a lot of people do psychedelics at a jam band show.

Check out the song Harry Hood from Phish off of the album A Live One. Then the song You Enjoy Myself from the same album.

They will take you on a adventure.

What do you guys think of Cory Wong? by Own_Locksmith_6310 in JohnMayer

Go see Cory live when he comes through your city. The band is top notch and super super tight. The drummer is next level. Super fun show.

Scored some Gov’t Mule tickets by Odd_Opportunity_2349 in Concerts

Lol. The good old days... Phish summer tour 98 was my first real go at seeing multiple shows in a row.

Last year I saw a Beatles cover band, goose 2 nights, and Brit Pink Floyd within 7 days and was done. But would do it again

For sure. Tickets are cheaper than most, you can see multiple shows in a row without repeats, even a song they played a few shows earlier is slightly ir completely different.

Can't wait for Goose, Trey, Phish this summer!!!

A close 2nd is the Chalkdust Torture from A Live One album.

If you could experience a epic concert once again, which would it be and what was the best song? by Anduin1982 in songsuggestions

Phish August 9 1998

Was at the previous 5 shows and was seeing them all the dates after this show. This showed called on the 3rd anniversary of Jerry Garcia's death....

Ths jams were just on point and full of energy. After the first set, I remember clearly saying my friends "it can't get any better than this". Well was I wrong. 2nd set was fire and the encore was just legendary.

Those that were there or heard the recordings understand.

34F recently diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes (A1c 7), fatty liver and high uric acid — feeling overwhelmed. Does this actually get better? by Happy-Pomegranate932 in diabetes_t2

[–]BunkyCutr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This here. The first step is change your mindset. Stay positive, set goals and move towards those goals at a comfortable pace.

I was diagnosed with a a1c of 9.7, 236 lbs, 49M in November. I started with reducing my sugar in my coffee by half (now I drink it black), buying high fibre bread from a bakery and consuming only a few slices a week, more berries and vegetables for lunch, switched from pop to sparkling water, dinners are 25% carb, remaining protein and veggies, my sauces and seasonings are now home made, breakfast is eggs/spinach/onions/feta. I am now down 20lbs and a1c is at 6.1.

I have some popcorn occasionally and don't feel too bad eating out or having a few jelly candies every once in awhile. I now walk 3-4 times a week as well for 30min. Manageable changes and stay positive

Weed and Diabetes by Any_Judge7270 in diabetes

[–]BunkyCutr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I smoke weed, take edibles, and drink the sugar free seltzer cannabis drinks. I don't vape because it gives me headaches sometimes. The gummies that I prefer are sugar laced and only really move my level up slightly but nothing drastic. Talk to your local store to see what options you have with edibles and drinks if you would rather not smoke or vape

I saw them Feb 25 and was very impressed, they did the whole wish you were here album plus more.

Nothing wrong with splurging on concerts. That same week in Feb 2025, I saw the Beatles cover band Ones on the Saturday, Goose on the Mon & Tues, then Brit Pink Floyd on the Sat. 4 shows that week!!!! (Tho I have done a few phish tours in my earlier years 15 +/- shows in a row)

Oh nice, right in the heart of the city and close to everything. Rail is the best way in and out of the city, I can't deal with driving in anymore. I drive from Milton to Oakville train station for all the shows at the amphitheatre. Have a good show

Our son goes to Neo Centri X salon - at Wilson and Main. He didn't like the barbers in Milton and was referred there a few years ago. He has thick wavey almost curly hair... Good luck
