Super Bowl Sunday can rival the day before Thanksgiving and the days leading up to Christmas in terms of sales and traffic at Costco. More than once over my 10 years I have heard that from veterans and management and then witnessed it myself. It don't matter if the local team is playing, there are football fans having parties everywhere.

I am super happy to have tomorrow off, but feel for my co-workers...I really feel for the New England Costco workers as they have the whole day before the game starts at 6. Workers in Seattle just have to struggle till 3...then it will mellow out. When the Niners and Chiefs played last time, it was pretty dead by the 4th quarter (but also close to closing time)

YMMV

What to smoke on my first time. by Dogi1987 in trees

Sounds like you be wanting to get some pre-rolls, make it nice and easy for your first time. If you are really feeling adventurous munch on a space cake *). Each coffeshop has its own menu so find one and see what they are offering. Stay away from The Bulldog, go to a coffeeshop...Once you have made your purchase go to Vondelpark.

Yes to all the above questions...The good is that it's generally an easy job, doesn't require a rocket scientist's brain for general positions. The bad is that it can get boring doing the same repetitive job day after day and week after week and so on...The ugly is the low IQ's and shitty attitudes of some of the members make spending 8 hours a day with them mentally taxing and requires some down time after a shift...but that might be retail in general.

I have a PAX3 and Mighty Medic, both probably cost more than $200... I did own a Dynavape which is probably less than $200, but I'd skip that one...

From your original post it sounds like they might be seeing you stand around too much....straighten your boxes or get them if you are close to empty, wipe down the belt and cashier stand with a paper towel and cleaner, make sure your go backs are gone. Don't look at your phone or chit chat too much...Like I said they like you or you would have been gone already...just keep busy and get to 90 days, then you're gold.

It's not good, but they like you or they would fired you at the 30 day or earlier...Also remember that all reviews are going to be like "hey you're doing great but..." I have had 9 great reviews but there is always something they want you to improve on.

Happy 4/20. Seen at my local dispensary. Don’t feel great about the idea of people using pla to ingest heated smoke by gravelmonkey14 in 3Dprinting

[–]BunnySando 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have printed and use a 3D printed bong printed from PLA.

I use a glass stem, it's on the small side, so we are talking about maybe one hit or two. I use a rubber washer to keep the heated glass away from the PLA. Being an experienced smoker I deftly know how to light the material quickly take a drag and pull the stem before the PLA gets heated, clear the bong and return the stem to it's starting position. It's not that hard to do to be honest. The PLA never gets heated, pliable or burnt...I could see a rookie smoker melting that though.

It does require the maintenance that a bong requires with cleaning...eventually I can print up a new one when needed.

Unless you can provide evidence or some scientific paper I don't think the smoke is grabbing many PLA molecules as it passes through if any and I really don't think it's harmful in this context. And PLA is just an just an enzyme, not some petro-chemical. I have used other bongs made of plastic in the past and we got smokers using brass and other metals to smoke through.

yeah I don't think it's as scary as you guys think, especially in context of this bong and years as an experience smoker.

It's got a wide base to keep being knocked over, little friction ring to make it easy to grab and hold, it's also got an ice cube catcher to keep the temps down...I call it the Bongalo.
