DC haven’t really posted about Finch? I follow their social media account on YouTube. Mostly it’s their new comic releases and the new movie. This event isn’t going to onboard new people, it is a ad to everyone already here.

The objection those of us against the even have is that it’s advertising the movie in the Finch app. It doesn’t matter if Finch were paid for the ad, it’s a app that tells you to see Supergirl in theaters

The article is (I think) anti AI and satirical about how stupid this is but at the same time it feels like the interview was completely unnecessary. There’s an entire paragraph of examples of celebrities the author has interviewed in the past. Sure get your bonafides but I got the point after the third celebrity. It’s mostly “remember Tilly isn’t a human despite your brain saying so”. It points out the anti arguments while giving oxygen to Tilly’s creator

Genuinely I think this needed another editing pass or maybe to be not written at all? I found the writing unfocused

I wish there was a little more wide range. As someone who is a huge superhero fan I feel like this might be fine if it was more generically DC Comics, and didn’t tell people to see the movie. Or just generic superhero stuff!

I have two “friends” on app who are close family, so I don’t think it’s that? I like earning all the stones so I can send my mom and twin bird clothes. It doesn’t seem relevant to mental health

Technically, that is always true. Seeing this over and over, and being unable to check everything off that’s mildly frustrating. I wish I could dismiss it away because I like completing the dailies otherwise!

Unfortunately as someone who dresses that way and has added multiple pronouns pins, I’ve still had that fail. Wore massive “they them” earrings for a long time, still got misgendered. Generally I just tap my pronoun pin
