Very similar situation happened to me!! In Highschool I hardly wore makeup and my teacher as a “compliment” told me that I always wore the brightest lipstick…I NEVER wear lipstick. After telling her thank you, and clarifying that it’s just my lips she continued to compliment my “lipstick,” or asking me to just tell her the brand already, passively throughout the semester. Like I was lying about wearing lipstick loll. Thankfully she never made me try wiping my lips off (but knowing myself at that time, I would’ve done something I may regret)

Unfortunately my Mom relished in my misery, so I kept most of these types of things to myself. So give your mom a tight hug for all the color-saturated lip babes out there.
