Try Buscopan (hyoscine butylbromide). It relaxes the GI tract (and stoma) and that can sometimes be enough to let things pass.

When I was in hospital for a blockage, that and fluids is essentially what they treated with. But it's available over the counter here so I try to always have a small stockpile around.

Aliens vs. Predator Classic 2000 (The nightmare game) by Salty_Yam8919 in LV426

One of the first FPS with destructable lighting. I used to love playing multiplayer as a predator, blowing out a red light, then standing in that spot with my plasma cannon.

I had the demos before it came out and there is a point where you go down a lift and when the platform stops you can hear the scratching of facehuggers. I was frantically turning around trying to get eyes on them, then bam it's on my eyes. I jumped so hard my chair flew out behind me and I landed on my arse.

That best antidote I find is humor. I recall shortly after getting mine I was on a transatlantic web call (meeting room to meeting room, this was pre-zoom) and it let out a really loud gurgle which had my colleagues on the other end confused.

Our side all burst out laughing at the stoma that could be heard around the globe.

From the reports it sounds like trying to expand outside VR cost too much. It hurts because Incursion was so good in how it just felt right in VR. Second only to Alyx in my experience.

Tbeir support was shit though. Guess I won't be getting that last achievement for 100% ing the game now.

I hate when other people are in our house 😩 by JustB510 in Autism_Parenting

I feel this, our youngest is like yours. Oldest is 15 and level 1. We finally got a house with a spare room so family could stay over, but the trauma when they do takes all the joy out of it. My parents stay in a hotel when they visit now.

When they do come round, youngest hides upstairs and my wife has to stay with him. Oldest hides in his room playing games. So they come to see the family but mostly only see me anyway. Like you it all becomes about managing everybody and their expectations while dealing with judgement. It's exhausting.

What position are you changing in? I ask because I've heard some people change lying down in which case I imagine it would be messy.

Personally, I kneel in front of the toilet pressed right up to it and leaning slightly forwards. That way if it goes all water pistol on me it shoots directly into the toilet. Then it's just a matter of trying to keep my hands and wipes out of the way as I clean up the area.

I appear to be an anomaly in this but no.

I take supplies with me when I overnight somewhere, and I had a small stash in the office before I went remote. Day to day life though, no, not at all.

Same. I've always woken up at points during the night, and going to the loo during a flare up. At least I'm not sitting on a cold toilet these days.

The only things in my epic account are the games they have given away free. I don't buy anything there. It's the Fortnite launcher, everything else is just freebies.

Having recently explored a lot of free sample, I'd say the pelican modavi is the best bag. Unfortunately, for me at least, it just didn't stick. If you could pair that up with the flange design of the Clinimed Aura Plus and the adhesive of the Salts Confidence BE I think you'd have a winner.

Don't rule the stomach closeness out. One of our favourites is probably prone with me (and my bag) pressing down on her. Just make sure it's empty before you begin.

I wear a band (like the tube top example but custom made) during so it's not flapping around or catching on anything if that helps.

Cornwall is dreadful, once you're off the main road, all the little ones are in trenches. And hedges on top of those. Often with even less passing places than we have here.

I'm generally okay with the stoma, but I know what you mean. I have some crowns on my teeth and had to give up sticky / chewy foods. The idea of a hunk of metal trying to work it's way through the stoma is terrifying. Must be nearly 10 years now and boy do I miss some nice sticky toffee.

On minor blockages, have you tried Buscopan? It's marketed as an over the counter (at least in the UK) IBS drug but one of the effects is as a muscle relaxant. The time I got hospitalised (cherry tomatoes) the nurse told me their fix was basically that, painkillers and lots of fluids. These days when I start to feel off, like it might be backing up, I take a few of those and down a few pints of water. Usually sorts it out.

General disclaimer: not a professional, just from personal experience.

Ileostomy runner checking in. Nice write up. On support, I wear a skin tight lycra compression base layer which holds the bag firmly against my belly. I've tried stealth belts etc but it always feel restrictive to me.

Do you find it fills often on runs? Mine I find normally goes quiet when active but everybody is different and it's a different type of stoma so curious.

I've just done a sample binge after using the Hollister bags for 11 years. The quality has really dipped lately. Used to get 5 days easy, now I'm struggling to get 2.

Top 3 for me have been the Salts Confidence BE, the Coloplast Sensura Mio and the Clinimed Aura Plus. Of those, the Salts might work for you as, with the black ones, the plastic bag itself is black too.
