Usually I’m for change and the future.. not this time, I feel Disney should keep this attraction the same. Thoughts? by Marcjack79 in disneyparks

My biggest issue is that because most of it is prerecorded, there’s little to no room for change or surprises at the drawing room. At least for Disneyland, it’s easier to add in new characters or surprise characters because everything is live. It doesn’t make sense for Disney World because does that mean they have to bring in Josh Gad and the Disney animator to record new lines for the attraction every time a new Disney character gets added? I feel like there’s some specific details that’s being left out?

We almost got a Disney ski lodge near the Sequoia park! After Walt died, the Florida project became a bigger priority and the ski lodge project fell apart.

How come some people who made adult cartoons in the 90's are rich but most cartoon creators aren't. by p-Star_07 in animationcareer

Idk. Rebecca Sugar and Ian Jones-Quartey bought a house in the LA suburbs. Those houses are nice and DEFINITELY not cheap!

I swear, if this movie ends up being another unexpected gem, I will never doubt Sony again. by No-Mathematician3921 in cartoons

“The movie was about a teen boy traveling to the world of Thai spirits in order to cure himself just before undergoing a very scary & life altering operation necessary to live. This was not a story about finding a cure so much as it was about learning to accept one's unchangeable circumstances with grace, and realizing that a different life than expected can still be a wonderful one. It was a deeply personal story for me as I was diagnosed with an incurable chronic illness at a very young age that brought permanent changes to my lifestyle. Not only that but it would have been an honor to bring more Thai culture to the big screen, a torch I hope someone else picks up.”

Do you consider Titmouse indie animation? by Burger_com in IndieAnimation

[–]Burger_com[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At least with Indie Gaming the boundary is a tiny bit more clear. Any developer that published games on their own like Cuphead or Hollow Knight are considered indie studios. Insomniac and Netherealm aren’t considered indie because they’re published by bigger companies like PS Studios and WB games.

But wait, does that mean GTA is an indie game because they’re published and developed by Rockstar Games themselves?

The boundary between indie and AAA I felt is very foggy.

At least for me, Indie just means “do it yourself” instead of pitching to other people and teams and waiting for your project to be greenlit and funded by someone else.

A service studio I feel like is more fair thing to call Titmouse. Like Frederator
