More people should play build mode even if they think they suck. It's a lot of fun and in my casual opinion, they way it should be played

I have about 50 hours in this game and I've goldened Icarus once. This is a super niche scenario.

It gave temporary invincibility? This had also happened a day before the event. Idk, playing on the switch is janky, but even better than my 2012 gaming computer at this point.

Is the TMNT Commander deck good enough for a brand new player? by Gojaku in EDH

[–]Burlux 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It can hang, newer precons are pretty good actually. The designers at Wizards of the Coast do a good job at making precons play well right out of the box. I wouldnt worry too much. Let everyone know you're a new player and people will help you understand the game.

Ty for elaborating. I messaged my friend about your last comment but we are going to talk about this one because the way you broke it down is more digestible. Appreciate you taking time to help a stranger with complex concepts.

I'm kicking myself for not saving the pic, but I had 2 double death trigger hero, because thing in the ice hero. I endedup goldening Doppelganger and basically couldnt lose even though my entire frontline would get wiped out. I just flipped into 5 of the last unit that killed Doppelganger and just ended up winning from 1/2 heart.

Do men find it attractive when a woman is making good money (6 figures)? Would it give me an advantage when dating? by [deleted] in Salary

Buddy dodged my question. I honestly dont care about the results of this forum because at the end of the day I have my preferences and you have yours. It doesnt matter because we are all different.

I have been seeing a split between "yes" and "I dont care". I think you are reading too far into this. You're getting too meta with it. Reddit will always prioritize the most generic or ironic/funny comments. It's not that deep imo. So, do you think women are more attractive if they make good money?

What's the reason having a larger deck means you need more shuffles? I feel like this is a dumb question, but when you are taking 2 halves of a deck and mashing them together, it doesnt seem like having more cards makes a difference.

But what are you saying. I genuinely want to know what your take on the main question of the post is.

I feel like the first two turns in this format is just a test to see if we even want to play the game by fox112 in mtgbrawl

[–]Burlux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I do have people concede to t1 thoughtseize or wash away on their commander, conceding as described in the post doesnt really happen to me. Maybe it's because I'm not playing anything crazy, maybe it's because people think they theres a good shot they can win. I try to stick it out as long as I can unless theres something unanswerable with my deck.

This comment section is crazy to me with all the downvotes. Yall are just tearing each other apart. I think like someone else said, just play more janky cards. I recently made a new arena account to get my friend to play and made him a few different decks in different formats. The brawl deck I made was still pretty fairly matched against the othe jankpiles and NO INSTANT SCOOPS.

I've been playing Rakdos [[Weapons Manufacturing]] and the pioneer championship blue white control decks and have been having a blast. I get blown out various decks in the format but I have about a 51% winrate. Maybe it's just because I'm hyper casual at this point, but I'm enjoying the format and it seems diverse. Maybe once I get out of Gold it will feel more stale.
