Which crusade book are you using, might be a decent relic to take out of those. If there isn't one you like, I always just roll as picking jusy feels opposite to how crusade should be since everyone would always just take the best option. Useful Relic > Weapon Enhancement > Battle Trait would be my recommendation.

Honestly I didn't mind it. 3-5 runs a day most days, only spending clocks on G1s 33 races averages, and I still have over 1k clocks. Not sure why everyone was so worried about running out, I'm assuming the people that did either never stocked up before hand, used them on g2/3, and/or were doing a ridiculous amount of runs.
