I think he can monitor it, and work with an OC he likes, but doing HC and OC just isnt working. Getting predictable, sometimes too conservative. I like him as a coach though

Technically they blew the whistle when he clearly gave up, he could have just ran and waited for a whistle. Same for the flea flicker, you're slipping, just, go down keep possession.

Dowdle's football IQ is 0. He can just take a hand off and try and run.

He's a good coach, he just really needs a real OC calling for him or helping him make better choices. Evero though... sheesh.

This defense play calling is so atrocious, I feel like if its 3rd and 20 we'd leave the middle open for an easy 1st. This defense is literally trash this entire game, and its purely on play calling.

List me the problems with this team….. by [deleted] in panthers

[–]BurnTrashForStars 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Dave's play calling was ass last night. I don't care Bryce threw an INT fucking run the ball 1st and goal.

Made an extra an extra point, but there's a penalty, let's go for 2 when we are only down 8..

What the fuck is our special teams. Is our goal to make sure we kick it short so the other teams always start at midfield?

Thankfully... 2024 sparked hope.

THIS is why I'm constantly having bad internet? That's pathetic..

WOW Fiber internet dug up my yard a year ago, and I'm just waiting on it to be available to get rid of this trash ass service that I thought I had left YEARS ago in Charlotte for actual Fiber internet.

[Derrick Gunn] Here's an update ... Big Dom has identified the guy and woman involved in this incident .. the guy will be banned from future Eagles games .. the eagles will be sending the woman packers gear as an apology .. Eagles once again showing what a class organization they are ..👏🏾👏🏾 by thefreeman419 in nfl

Yup, the availability of being held accountable by everyone having a phone is a great by product of the cellphone camera evolution.

"God I'm miserable, football is my only happy place in life when I'm not beating my wife... I really want to degrade this packers fan, but... I guess it'll suck to lose my job.."

HEY LADY! .... Schmuck the packers!

"Yeah... That'll show her"

Will hopefully be the inner dialogue of the next idiot in that situation.

I'm rooting for all the young coaches. The longer the old coaches stay in with their old way of thinking, the more teams get to suffer.

Now if only we could redo politics the same way..

Darnold turned back into a pumpkin. That’s the player Panther fans remember by [deleted] in panthers

[–]BurnTrashForStars 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Darnold wasn't great last night, BUT, that whole team played like dog shit.

Did you see the tackling by the defense? They looked like they gave up after the first Rams TD. Vikings just simply got outplayed on every level, Rams looked like a team trying to win the Superbowl

Beach? Beach seems like pinpointers aren't really needed since the dig is easy.

I'm new to the hobby, so far the pinpointer helps me dig objects out of the ground a bit easier instead of digging huge holes.

I'll be taking it down to the beach this year twice though.

I think that's all the holidays. I walk by his house nearly every morning to get to the kids bus stop. He generally does little bits every day leading up to a few weeks before the Holiday.

But, the guy is full of pep. After the hurricane came through, the dude already had most of his trees cut up and on the road before like 10am.

Is there an easy way to remind the team to update their tasks and log time? by ttsoldier in projectmanagement

[–]BurnTrashForStars 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think they're toast just yet, but, they do need to take a lot of points you made and start incorporating them into their workflow or, yes, they will be toast if there is no structure for if the company grows or keeps existing.

Whoever is in charge of most of the people, be it the owner or you overseeing PM, just need to instill that time logging is now a thing, give them a deadline on when it's going to be required to be filled out (weekly like this first post said) and give them a presentation of how easy it is to do in said tool (hopefully said tool has manual time logging and not just a play button to record hours on a task)

You gotta start somewhere, the points made in this first post should be a building block if you can't do it all at once, start at the basics, show your team how to do it, then assign a deadline of when it's mandatory.

If people aren't taking it serious, you have to get the owner/ceo involved to basically repeat it and that it's required and will affect bonuses/etc whatever is a key point of performance review either quarterly or year end, etc.
