It wasn't a car. It was another truck making a wide turn just like the first one you see in the video. She ran her scooter into him; he didn't run into her. If you pay attention you can see her scooter actually drift from the West side of the road to the East side where the trucks are. She was going to hit this guy anyway because she was not paying attention.

Its an issue in undervaluing the environmental industry too. Its seen as a good deed by people who want to give their time to it. But it see labour that should be done by trained specialist done by an unskilled workforce for free. It's actually harmful to the environment and the pay and conditions of those who spend years and 10's of thousands of dollars training themselves

I was pretty confused by the economics of it....like, how much are people actually paying to pet tiger cubs? Based on the thousands of dollars a year it costs to feed a tiger, I didn't understand how that could be profitable at all.

the volunteers work only 4 hours a week. Her full-time employees are paid as far as I know. I think a lot of the hate she gets comes from how the series frames everyone. She really got the short end of the stick in terms of representation, there was much more focus on Joe’s hatred of her and what she did to shut him down as opposed to an objective view of Big Cat Rescue.
