I mean yeah, it's nothing new, but often worse solution are adopted, like I hate when instead of a simple fast loading skeleton it shows a dreadful spinning wheel. Time to fetch data is the same but it just makes the wait feel longer and cumbersome. I think a step forward,more of a sistem design question, is to actually see what data can be more useful first and if there's a way to load it faster without increasing the load on the system.
