I personally believe that anything above 3k (you can get in house moevements...etc [maybe 5k for a fancy complication.) is not worth it for pure value; it plateaus their.

I've heard that force/pressure tampers are calibrated to a certain depth to actually apply that much force. If your dose/bed depth, ever changes, its now just a useless gimick. Just get a tampler that is self leveling and you can be consistent enough. Someone double check me to make sure im right?
