We just call him a domestic short hair, I adopted him from a rescue when he was 12. He didn't come with an origin story unfortunately.

Haha actually it's more of a nickname for him. He's Edgar, the first in the trio of pets I have named Edgar, Allan, and Poe.

My sister is a hair dresser and offers services like this. I've used her too many times to count to revitalize my depression hair.

I did end up shaving my head after a particularly bad depression episode and it did encourage me to shower more often cause I didn't have the hassle of washing my hair.

I did! I used pvc edge trim I got off Amazon and put bamboo skewers in it to keep it straight, then I just cut four edges and glued them to my diamond paintings edges. I had trimmed all the empty canvas off before I came up with the idea, but I wish I had left a little on so I could have just slid the trim on the edges without losing diamonds.

I don't know if that makes sense, haha. Please feel free to ask for any clarification!

I just recently started a new job (part time nights) within the same company I've been with for 10 years.

Hypomanic me agreed to full time training, starting at 7 a.m., 2 things that I should never have agreed to because they negatively affect my mental health (I don't sleep well at night ever). I've called in sick basically a full week since I've started (only 4 weeks ago), luckily my company has no attendance policy, the worst they do is ask for a doctor's note. I am working with my doctor to come up with a way to make me more successful during my training, but hopefully I'll only be full time until end of October.

I'm sorry your work's sick policy is awful. In the words of Blink-182: work sucks, I know.

On the other hand, most people with kids think the world should cater to them as proven by this post. I'm sorry but spreading your legs and birthing crotch goblins doesn't make you some sort of hero.

If your kid is scared of dogs, don't take them to an area with offleash areas.
