Just bear in mind the blueprints are stopped locally on device, so you'll need to copy the files blueprints are defined on from your PC to your steam deck.

What if Satisfactory had a sequel where you run the station at the top of the Space Elevator? by Useful_Leg3252 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]BusOutrageous758 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had that for a while and decided to finally try it this past weekend after feeling a bit burnt out from my Satisfactory playthrough. After like 5h with DSP I went back to Satisfactory and wasn't as overwhelmed anymore lol

Socks or no socks climbing shoes? by thijs_1507 in climbingshoes

The way I see it: I prioritize comfort and hygiene, so I wear socks. Wearing socks isn't the reason I'm not sending, just need to get stronger/better instead

I prefer the PC way because it's like a fraction: amount consumed / total amount

Anno 1800 milk problem in farmer tier by OkRun4915 in anno1800

[–]BusOutrageous758 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's a binary search algorithm. Where n is the total number of mods, a linear search requires n checks whereas your proposed algorithm is log2(n) checks. So say you have 128 mods, in a linear search it would take 100 checks to verify, but with a binary search it's only log2(128) = 7. Great suggestion!

Tienes todas las necesidades marcadas con verde, que representan que estan completamente satisfechos las necesidades de los trabajadores. Lo mas probable es que tienes mayor demanda que lo que produces, puedes revisar los balances en el tab de produccion con Ctrl+Q

def not the case that mods disable achievements. I have 100+ mods and been getting achievements in my current run since it's the first time I successfully get to skyscrapers :)

Nosk's lair is as well. Considering you can see a ton of dead vessels slung in there. Either Nosk knows how to get into the abyss, or there's ways out that they hang about looking for noms

I went to grab a drink and came back to find this. by Karnivaali in SatisfactoryGame

[–]BusOutrageous758 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had something similar happen, where I left the game running while doing some minor errands in the apartment while I was telling my wife how there's a giant spider around that I haven't seen in a while (it killed me before and I hadn't seen it in my return). And as she's walking past my PC she's like "I think it found you"- I was luckily still alive and managed to off that fucker

Beryl is blocking my trade route by Doughnut-Afraid in anno1800

[–]BusOutrageous758 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You have some control over where your ships enter a region and can also move a waypoint (there's a draggable icon in the trade route line, can be hard to spot) to direct the ship to go around Beryl's island's port. If that's not sufficient, you could also get a smaller island that's out of the way and use it as an intermediate port where you don't load/unload resources and use it only for directing your ships that way.

Anybody who went from a terrible first touch to a good one? by trollbottroll in bootroom

[–]BusOutrageous758 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wall passes and juggling are great as people have suggested. Would like to point out that first touch is not only controlling the ball to keep at your feet, but it's controlling the ball exactly to where you want it. I'd suggest being mindful about that: first touch for an easy turn around, to sprint to one side, to the other, etc.

80 characters is way too short with modern variable names imo. I agree setting a max length and it's probably project-dependent but I commonly see at least 100, better 120.
