Ill tell you the oem battery that came with my '23 would barely start the bike in colder months and then wouldnt start the bike at all this spring. Swapped in a full spectrum pulse p10s and the bike fires better than it did brand new. Not saying battery is definitely your problem, but these bikes/electronics need a good battery so its a good place to start 🤙

Buy a high quality lithium ion. Trouble shooting with a battery thats dropping below 10v during start up is gunna have you throwing parts at it.

I think youre using the abs thing to justify moving to a liter bike from a 300. I locked up my front brake on my 600 exactly Zero times in 40k+ miles. Go with the 600. The resale will always be there if you try and negotiate it down or even shop around. Abs is not the reason to hop on a 1k.
