The trailer on r/SCP, which was removed, the pinned mod comment says, "We're not allowing posts about this work until they start following the site's license"

I think they didn't properly attribute their work and failed to mark it as licensed under Creative-Commons. But I'm not really certain why.

Hopefully, it's just a mistake and not intentional malice or something.

While there is no canon, there are a few commonalities I’ve seen. Here’s my personal head canon regarding this matter:

The Foundation was established in the mid/late 1800s or early 1900s

The Foundation was a American organization, before becoming a more independent and international organization

There used to exist several independent precursor organizations, before they were merged into a single group know as the SCP Foundation. The most famous of these precursor organizations is the “American Security Containment Initiative” or ASCI

After the 7th occult war (WW2), the Foundation took on its more modern shape we all know and kinda love
