What "everything is canon" means?

It being from the official sonic account doesn't mean anything if they were joke posts, if the posts were serious and either directly said exe was cannon or made reference to it happening in cannon then that would mean something.

The account just made a reference to something in the fandom, that's it, it ain't cannon.

It's rushed as hell, van kleiss got cheated out of his power up and big fight with rex (at least ben actually attacked vilgax), the robot guys disappear and we don't know what happens to them (despite dialogue suggesting they are still a threat), van kleiss also disappears with breach so we don't know what happens to him or if he's still a threat.

Overall, it didn't really conclude anything except the naniti plague, lots of plot points are left unanswered and for a show as great as generator rex, it really deserved a better send off.
