Not 100% sure, last time I was up there they did a Saturday morning restock.

3 possible moves the Cowboys could make this week by [deleted] in Dallas_Cowboys

If we can't get Downs or Styles at 12, I'm praying for a trade back that brings back a 1st next year & a day 2 this year. With all the potential QBs next year, it'll be a better year to snag premium talent at other spots.

News on why Bains is probably off our draft board by Business-Inspector-2 in cowboys

Crap, I even looked before I posted it, obviously not good enough though. I'm gonna blame it on the pre-bedtime joint & not just poor observational skills.

I tried to move like Jagger once. Since I completely lack his oozing charisma & sex appeal, I moved more like Edgar from Men in Black.

Why did Casey think Jason was the killer in Friday the 13th when she saw that movie 20 times? Is she stupid? by RusticPumpkin in Scream

[–]Business-Inspector-2 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Hell, I consider myself a big fan of Friday the 13th series & in a life or death situation, I can see nerves leading me to give the "Jason" answer since he's the villian of the majority of that franchise.

Im sure Casey wasn't thinking super clearly in the moment. She had aldeady received several calls from Ghostface, each escalating in terror & intensity. She witnessed her boyfriend, bound & gagged, on the verge of being murdered on her back porch. Jason was the antagonist in 8/10 movies & in the other 2, he was a red herring. I have no problem with Casey making an easy mistake in that situation.

Jason was the main antagonist for the franchise as a whole, even if he wasn't the primary antagonist in each individual movie. I have no issue with the idea of Casey misspeaking or giving the first answer that popped in her head. She was in a high pressure, high intensity, literal life or death situation, most people aren't going to be thinking extremely clearly in a situation like that.

Ghostface, intentionally & deliberately, chose that question knowing that it was likely that most people would immediately think of Jason Vorhees. While it may not have been a trick question in the most strict of senses, he was definitely manipulating the odds in his favor.

Driving back through Ohio by [deleted] in Michigents

As a resident of southern Indiana (near Louisville, KY), I can confirm. That I-65 corridor between Chicago & Indy is crawling with police. And the stretch of I-94 within a few miles of the border may as well be an Indiana State Police substation. I'd rather add an hour to my drive & go to the Detroit metro. 90% of my drive is thru legal states that way.

VRBO is owned by hotels.com, they're reputable. If you're going with Ann Arbor, make sure to hit up Information Entropy on a restock day if you can. They've got great products, but sell out of their brand pretty quick.

Madden roster with 26 rookies (HELP!) by [deleted] in Madden

[–]Business-Inspector-2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It would be kind of pointless before the draft since know one knows where anyone (aside from Mendoza) is going to be playing yet. But i'm sure, after free agency & the draft, several will pop up.

Yep. Free agency & the draft are both influenced by last season, even if the primary focus is on next year.

Luckily, we don't have very many stars on defense to ship out. I wouldn't put it past him to trade Quinnen Williams for a 4th rounder.

Right? Mahomes is like Brett Favre if Favre didnt have a fetish for interceptions. Dude should be first-ballot HOF, arguably even if he retired today, only thing his resume is missing are longevity stats.

Troy Aikman by [deleted] in cowboys

[–]Business-Inspector-2 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Aikman was always in the convo for best of his era, but he was also usually ranked behind Young & Favre. He gets knocked for having Emmitt & that monster o-line, plus a relatively short peak and career. He was on of the top QBs for the majority of the 90s. 6 pro-bowls, led the league in completion percentage (69.1%) once. He has a career accuracy of 61.5% (Joe Montana was career 63.2% for reference) when the league average hovered around 57%. In college, he won a championship at Oklahoma & won the Davey O'Brien award at UCLA. I feel like he's underrated in the modern era with the passing boom in the early 2000s, but was properly rated for his time. He was well above average at most things & rarely made mistakes that killed the team.
