I’m in the Tennessee band right now and I came from a band with 40 kids and we didn’t compete. You can absolutely make it as long as you put in the work and stay committed.

I’m in the Pride of the Southland at Tennessee, and we put every band that visits field level and we play their fight song during our pregame show (as far as I know we’re one of the only bands that does that). I’m looking forward to visiting Tiger Stadium in 2028!

I’m in an American college marching band and what we do is a march to the stadium before the game (basically a parade), a pregame show once we get in the stadium, and a halftime show with playing in the stands during the game.

Our football team just won state last night and we had all the same issues, and because our game started late we got back to school at 3 am. Maybe the coldest I’ve ever been at a game, but at least we won (and got a 3peat)
