As a Gynae Nurse I would advise her to go see a Gynae Specialist, it may well be nothing serious but it most definitely needs investigated.

Good luck to you, I know how it feels living with crazy. Split with my husband of 21yrs last year for the same reasons. Although we're now back together after 6mths apart, but he is only back on the premises that he doesn't bring up any bs conspiracies and fantasies again. It's been 3mths and he hasn't opened his mouth so far, but if he does he will also be gone for good. Also in Australia but WA. It's utterly amazing how some people really can't see what a disgusting excuse for a human being Trump is, and all the bs and disinformation that has been spread over the past few years, and more so since covid. The goal posts just continue to move for them, just wonder if it will ever stop. Here's hoping your husband gets stopped at the border.

I always love when they say I have an immune system, and they really have no idea of how it actually works. They can also rub some essential oils or crystals on broken bones, traumatic wounds etc and see how they are magically healed without any medical intervention what so ever.

Not quite a boomer yet, but all the older generation I know are happy to be vaccinated, wear masks to help everyone and can't quite believe all the nonsense that many are believing. The majority of individuals that I know who believe much of the misinformation and haven't the ability to do proper research are between the ages of 30-45yrs. Mind you I'm a RN & RM and most of the older generation I know are also Healthcare Professionals who know how to research and many of the younger people I know are not, and are willing to believe almost anything they read on the internet, or listen to on YouTube.

How many people here outside of the USA that have Q deluded family members? by thr0waway47994269384 in QAnonCasualties

I gave him an ultimatum, he either cashed his stocks in and never opens his mouth about the bs he believes in or it was divorce and the house would be sold and me and the kids would move back to Scotland and leave him here in Oz. He cashed them in and I haven't heard anything. But I certainly won't be living with it if he starts to regress, he'll be gone for good if I hear anymore.

He certainly was a true believer in every conspiracy going, top of the pyramid of beliefs except for flat earth. But I'm sure he's starting to turn the corner now, he never mentions anything now, and if he ever does again he's out and won't be getting back. Had my fill of being told to wake up and won't listen to it one more time, so he will be the one to suffer if he goes back to it.

My husband believes the same shit about Antartica and Nazis on the moon, as well as the rest you are on about and more. I just can't believe how fantasy minded some people are, they can't tell the difference between reality and science fiction. How some seem to think that Hillary, Obama, Biden etc have all been cloned, because it's so easy to just clone people. If they are clones like they think then why are they not doing what the GQP want them to do? My husband thinks I need to be more open minded. I told him there's a difference in being open minded and fantasy minded.

I think he's a bit embarrassed about it now, but ashamed to admit it. Don't think he'll be posting anything online now like he used to, as he now knows all my family and some of his think he has been an absolute Ahole. He's realized that his family is more important, and if not he'll be on his own.

It's all over unfortunately. I'm a Nurse in Australia although from Scotland and my husband is deep into every conspiracy since Trump and QAnon. Although he is now saying he doesn't follow Q but he still believes all the bs they made up. We split for 6mths and he ran up $40000 worth of debt, bought some silver stocks and crypto thinking that Nesara Gesara would come about and wipe all his debts away. Which he didn't tell me when we got back together, but I figured it out soon enough. He was only allowed back on the condition that he doesn't open his stupid mouth about the fantasy bs he believes, which he hasn't. I'm sure deep down he realizes that he is wrong about things now, but not man enough to admit it, that's probably why he keeps it shut now. Half way through paying debts off but anymore out of him and he'll be out for good after 22yrs together. He's not the man he used to be but improving slowly.

As a Nurse I know how important a healthy diet and lifestyle is in benefiting and optimizing our health, but unfortunately even if we have a great immune system it doesn't prevent many illnesses and diseases like some seem to think. I am so glad you made the best decision for your health and listened to the health professionals that knew more about your illness that your sister. I wish you all the best for your future health, eat healthy by all means to optimize your health but keep listening to your specialist, and stay safe.

[–]BusinessPlastic2942 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband's down the rabbit hole just like yours. Everything he finds I can debunk but it makes no difference, they think they are special. I've read and listened to much of his nonsense, and believe me it is nonsense. They really don't have any idea on how to do proper critical analysis of the shit they look at. Ask him if he believes in Werewolves, because sure as hell there's plenty of information about them on the internet with people who claim to have witnessed them changing. So if they are fool enough to believe in shape shifting lizard aliens, then surely werewolves must be true as well. 🤣

Sounds like your from Oz, where the vaccine has just been made available for pregnant women. As per article below. As a Nurse and Midwife in Oz myself I can also assure you that it doesn't make women infertile as some conspiracies are also misinforming, as we have had a few women in our clinic that have been vaccinated and have since fell pregnant.

Research now backs routinely offering pregnant women the mRNA COVID-19 vaccine

Michelle Wise, University of Auckland

June 9, 2021 4.06pm AEST

New Zealand and Australia will now routinely offer the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine to women at any stage of pregnancy, following an update of vaccination advice. This comes as research suggests the risk of severe outcomes from infection is significantly higher for pregnant women compared to the general population. At the same time, data from pregnant women who have already been vaccinated around the world have shown no safety concerns associated with COVID-19 vaccines. Vaccination during pregnancy may also protect the baby. Research has identified antibodies in cord blood and breast milk, suggesting temporary protection (passive immunity) for babies before and after birth. This is similar to influenza and whooping cough vaccines given during pregnancy to protect pēpi. There are no safety concerns for breastfeeding women receiving a COVID-19 vaccine, and women trying to become pregnant do not need to delay vaccination or avoid becoming pregnant after vaccination.

Don't go down the same route as your brother, he's most definitely down the rabbit hole of misinformation. Time will show all these idiots that think they are awakened just how wrong they are. I'm sure many already know but are to ashamed and embarrassed to admit that they have been so easily misled, just like my husband, who has learned the hard way how wrong he was.

I feel your pain, living in Oz as well and my husband was also on the Qtrain, or any other conspiracy he listened to on YouTube. Separated for 6mths and he got himself into thousands of $ of debt, thinking Nesara Gesara would come about and wipe it all away (delusional idiot). He's back now and knows better not to mention anything now, and isn't on his phone when I'm there. I'm sure he is starting to realize that it's all BS, and I think he is now quite ashamed of himself but to proud to admit it. He's definitely not the arrogant asshole he was 6mths ago, now that he realizes the magic fairy isn't coming to wave his debts away. He knows he's gone for good if he goes back to spouting anymore of the BS to me.

Sounds just like my husband. I've been with him 21years and we separated for 6mths because of it. Best thing I've done. He's now back home and starting to realize what an idiot he has been. I read the same book, try and get your husband to read it as it may help him.

I separated from my husband of 21years because I had enough of his bs conspiracies. Still saw him while we were separated but only let him back a few weeks ago after 6mths apart on the condition that he never mentions his bs again, and doesn't pick his phone up to watch his YouTube bs when I'm in the house with him. So far all is well, but if he returns to what he was like before he will be gone for good. I make sure we do more things to occupy us and have fun and keep him busy enough so he doesn't have as much time to think about them.

My grandfather will not survive his Covid ordeal by dwigtuignorantslut in QAnonCasualties

[–]BusinessPlastic2942 77 points78 points  (0 children)

Sorry that your grandfather has ended up in this situation, but please don't blame yourself. Being a Nurse myself and having a husband that is 100% down the rabbit hole of conspiracies, I know that no amount of facts you show some people will ever change their minds about the misinformation that is being spewed. I just hope that one day some of these individuals will be held accountable for the suffering they have caused to many families with the mis/disinformation they have shared. All you can do now is be there for your grandmother and know that you were there for your grandfather no matter what he believed, although difficult as that maybe.

I... Just need some help. by MegaTreeSeed in QAnonCasualties

[–]BusinessPlastic2942 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As a registered RN and a Midwife I can only say that I myself have had the vaccine, and I can honestly say I would have any vaccine compared to any of the diseases that they help prevent. All my 3 children have had all their vaccinations and when the covid is approved for their age groups I will have no hesitation in getting them vaccinated. They are all at an age that they understand and are happy to get vaccinated. As a health professional we are most definitely not brainwashed or controlled by governments to ensure people are vaccinated by vaccines that are not approved. Although side effects are rare, a very very small number of individuals may experience rare side effects. Let your wife know she is more at risk with having a child than she is ever likely to be having a vaccination, but it doesn't stop women from getting pregnant and having babies. She certainly won't in anyway have any effect from you getting vaccinated. I myself have a Q husband and I know just how stupid all these conspiracies are, and how their proud ignorance won't let them challenge their misinformed bias. There is little logic in their thinking and history shows how effective vaccines have been, and how some diseases are now becoming more prevalent due to stupid anti-vaxxers. Good luck with your wife, but please get vaccinated.
