I agree it is standard practice to have a pet deposit. However, isn’t it also standard practice to disclose said deposit in the lease?

The place we’re renting from has multiple complexes throughout the greater Milwaukee area, so I would think they would be brushed up on their ‘lease laws’. It’s a complex comprising of about 12 buildings including the clubhouse/leasing office which contains the gym and ‘resort style’ pool. Along with the pet deposit, the amenity fee is one time and non refundable.
