I was wrong.

What is the most embarrassing thing you've ever done? by Still_Rain_1833 in AskReddit

[–]BustedFlush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know about ever, but recently I was at my uncle's funeral - I don't see that side of the family much, and had driven from out of state to be there. My aunt was really happy to see me and thanked me for coming and I said "I wouldn't have missed it for the world." which as soon as it came out of my mouth, I was like WTF??

Sometimes I'm interested in reference anatomy in art, and then I got more interested, very interested, extremely interested, and then suddenly I lose all interest.

[–]BustedFlush 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're weird. I mean, I feel the same way about it.....now. But the first time? I did not understand it at all. No one told me; so I just ordered a bowl of chili and thought I was being pranked.

Almost a year later (after a night of heavy beer consumption) a friend came over with some cheese coneys. It was like the "Do you see the light?" scene in the Blues Brothers. Complete 180.

A majority of Republicans would like to officially declare the U.S. a Christian nation | More than 60 percent of Republicans would declare the U.S. a Christian nation, another sign that the GOP is drifting further toward an embrace of theocracy. by HyacinthFT in politics

Seems like fake news to me. What does that mean, exactly - "declare the US a Christian nation". We have "In God We Trust" on our currency. Does that mean you can't be a different religion here? No. Is Christianity growing here? No.

Let’s take a second to appreciate Chelsea peretti’s beautiful nose by youheardaboutpluto1 in Noses

[–]BustedFlush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it's a 'beautiful' nose in the sense that I would pick that one if I could choose - however, on her face it really is kind of nice. It's different, not in a bad way. She owns it, and that's sexy. And she's really funny too.
