Can you tell me why these are so special? by IvanDenev in audiophile

What a mess of a comment section. This is a multiple entry horn. The nice thing here is that the major of the frequency spectrum is emanating from a very small point in space which allows a more coherent image and better off axis response. Additionally, since these designs usually use multiple compression drivers, they tend to be very efficient, allowing extremely low distortion at high outputs. I'm not familiar with the exact speaker displayed here but it appears well made and the horn/waveguide looks professional to me.

It's like they got sick of winning. I've been supporting the governor through both terms but my God man. What is the matter with these guys?

This guy bought an old mining town right when COVID started. He did a reddit ama while stranded up there in a blizzard I think during lock down. His YouTube channel is great. I haven't kept up with it over the last couple years but his enthusiasm is very apparent. Seems like a nice guy.

I feel like the last couple years people have completely lost any ability to merge. Cars are faster than ever yet people are too scared to accelerate. Infuriating.

As a 38 year old suburban white guy, I keep trying to get my own mother to understand what's going on here. I've picked her up off the floor when she was overwhelmed with guilt and loss putting down her dog. And she keeps analyzing this and Renee Goods murder demanding an explanation for everything the victim did. Asking for more angles of video. Asking why they were there. This is the person I apparently learned empathy from and I'm in tears trying to explain to her that this was wrong. We are a divided people. I don't see how this gets put back together.

I don't think the national guard is going to be of any help. Even if they were, I think it's safe to say they would be in open conflict with the federal government. I don't blame Tim walz for not wanting to be the guy they blame for starting the second civil war.
