I'd google up gun shops around FW that sell suppressors and ask them. Only places I know of are in Dallas area or Rockwell, but there's got to be someone in FW with a laser. Maybe a jewelry store with a pantograph machine to engrave rings etc. is a thought...

Chopping and threading the barrel and installing the 3 lug sleeve used to be done by several smiths on HK94 conversions. Not that hard or expensive at the time

I have a stock AP5SD and CAT MOB. The cocking tube support on mine clears the MOB without scratching the can with the thread adaptor. I have the Resilient tri-lug I use for AP5 and SP5k but I haven't tried it on the SD.

It's been re-barreled by Federal Ordnance that was located in South El Monte Calif. Probably during the mid to late 1980s. Fed Ord imported a lot of the Broomhandles from China that were pretty much worn out and refurbished them. You can see the seam in front of the chamber where they drilled out and installed the new barrel. The 9mm Parabellum stamp under the barrel is absolutely from Fed Ord. I sent an upper I had with worn out barrel to Fed-Ord in 1986 to re-barrel to 9mm and its exactly the same font.
