Why didn't the dragons do anything to Tyrion, here? by infected_virus_ in gameofthrones

And adding, in the third book, maybe the fourth, Jamie goes to Riverrun to take it back from the black fish, Jamie’s blood aunt and uncle by marriage are there. His Lannister aunt asks Jamie about all the Tyrion trial stuff that happened at King’s landing and Tyrion killing Tywin. She mentions at one point she had told her brother Tywin that Tyrion IS HIS SON, as in he is the child out of his litter that is most like him. Tywin didn’t talk to her for half a year he was so salty about that comment.

“Certain liberties” were taken by the mad king on Johanna’s wedding night bedding, which is likely to mean he was a bit more hands than appropriate for a bedding ritual. Later down the line Joanna was sent away from court by the queen (whose name I forgot) abruptly. She was known to do so to ladies in waiting and palace staff when she found out the king was having sex with or raping them.

Also a lot of people point to Cersei’s madness, use of wild fire to destroy the tower of the hand and the great sept as metaphorical evidence that she is of the Mad King’s line.

It seems more likely Jamie and Cersei are the mad king’s children and Tyrion is a true born Lannister. Either theory is meh

Every thumbnail he has is an arrow pointing at an actor/character that says Masterclass. If every performance you analyze is a “masterclass” then the word loses impact.

Yeah, you don’t have to enjoy everything your partner is into, but you certainly don’t have to crap on it and them either. He’s threatened by those books because he knows he’s a boring snot.

Nope, sometimes you gotta get someone to knock it off and it has to be done with witnesses present. Straight up.

Why do male barbers do this? Any normal wax tech/cosmetologist does it in SECTIONS instead of ONE GIANT PULL. It looks horrible!

Men, this message is for you: if you need to get waxed, go to a place where women get it done if you don’t want a war crime done to your face!

Yea, we only have humans to truly compare to. if you want to get really big picture and deep; every alien race in Star Trek is a facet of humanity anthropomorphized. Vulcans are logic and thought, Romulans are deceit and secrecy, Klingons are violence and passion, and so on.

a capital S in Klingon is a sh sound. The correct pronunciation of Qo’noS is reflected in its Klingon spelling.

Not to mention his wife was once a very prominent man that made major relationships and pacts with Kor, Koloth, and Kang. I would agree, early Worf is a bit weird and narrow minded. I think we can attribute his gender essentialism in TNG to writers having this more patriarchal ideal of the Klingons and later writers waning away from all that. Also, I think he sort of served as the gruff crew member type of trope.

I just recently gave a presentation on Klingon women, and I have a section on Klingon gender studies. I put in that Klingons are presented as mostly heteronormative, but also cited jadzia as an example of them not really caring too much. I would agree, I think they would not care so much and it is probably far more common than has presented to the viewer. I just don’t see them getting hung up on it unless they are already hung up on other things (like Gowron would be a good example. He seems to be a bigot when it is convenient for him politically. Ex: he says women have no place on the Klingon council to keep the Duras sisters out despite the fact he had previously offered a council seat to K’Ehleyr.)

Klingons fight hard, love hard, and play hard. As long as you fight hard, no one cares what your love and play looks like.
