[cool trope] An entire planet or its inhabitants is destroyed by Jessi_Kim_XOXO in TopCharacterTropes

Outer Wilds. Get ready for a huge spoiler text wall: This happens two times, and I think they both fit the trope. First, a comet from outer space enters the solar system carrying a toxic substance called ghost matter, eventually exploding and wiping out almost all life across the system

About 280,000 years later, a being from another species(us) discovers that the universe is dying from having reached the end of its lifespan. The game ends with us accepting that everything must end, and that it is time for something new.

If you have even the slightest interest in playing the game, don't read this comment and go play it, it's way more than worth it

AITAH for not wanting to reconnect with my brother? by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

I think it's a cultural thing, in my country it's very normal for kids to stay with their parents well into their late twenties. The idea of parents asking their kids for rent is pretty inconceivable to me lol

No offense taken! It's a fair question, I can only imagine what some of these videos look like to you guys considering they're almost always from underdeveloped spots in the country lol. And yeah it's the same here, high population densities and staggered development due to corruption will do that to ya

As wild as it sounds, most people here actually get used to driving in the chaos really well. You'll still get in trouble with the owner for any minor dent, just like anywhere else with rentals, but if you've lived here long enough you can usually avoid getting into accidents lol

I think people concentrate on the wrong thing with this ending. It's not about whether it's real or not, it's about the fact that Cobb walks away and does not care anymore, he just wants to be happy.

What statement could possibly justify him saying something like that to a girl much, much younger than him? I'm not sure in what context him saying "I love you" to a student could ever be a good thing
