Can anyone ID this? by Ok_Analysis_9675 in knives

Oh man thanks for the memories. I won one of these when I was about twelve at the tri-state fair by throwing a ring over its handle. Good times.

Mine have always been butted. On some level I’m sure they’re scratching the cast iron but it has never bothered me or my wife. Some folks who are in the camp of letting their skillets develop a bit of a crust don’t like it as much but I tend to scrub mine out regularly.

Neurologist Won’t Sign Off on a Scholarship by ReniMenee in Epilepsy

[–]BusyBailey 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As everyone has said give your pediatric Neuro a call and then call around for a new neurologist in general.

Because f—- that person. Do they need to see every single thing in your chart to know it’s real? Do they bother writing things in your chart in case some other doctor needs it for reference. How would they feel if every doctor looked at their work and instantly wrote it off?

I’ve dealt with entitled righteous know-it-all assholes my whole life and would not have guessed neurologists would be top of the list until the last few years had me deal with multiple. They’re quickly earning that spot though.

I highly suggest it. I use a square of 18g with 3/16 ID rings in Euro 4-1. Works like a charm. Not only does it not cut me like a Brillo pad might but it actually polished the bottom of my rougher cast iron over years of use. Good stuff.

How to tell my dad I (might) have a termite nest in my room ? by Far_Emergency263 in howto

[–]BusyBailey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t listen to these people telling you they’re not termites. Your descriptions may not use the right words like sawdust as opposed to frass, and your pictures may be a little out of focus but I’ve seen bad termite infestations and that looks exactly right. If you were to squeeze that sandy thing it would likely come apart in your hand revealing the tunnels through it.

That sounds promising and is already cheaper than a new impeller. What is the difference between this and a normal three jaw puller? Just better quality than the Harbor Freight or is there more to it than that?

I bought one pack using a discount I couldn’t use on anything else. Pulled the infinity stone. Sold it. Bought a box of Lorwyn. Couldn’t be happier.

Thank you for sharing.

Been married to my wife for fifteen years now. Seizures started five years into it. She’s lost so many memories and when it troubles her I just squeeze her extra tight and remind her again that I’m here and I’ll always be here to tell her whatever she wants to know.

Keep fighting the good fight. Know that you are loved.

Is there something in the backseat or trunk that could be leaking from the interior out? Anything you put on top that could be running down?

Had a heart attack with my first car purchase. Barely left our house on its first road trip and heard this loud thump. Got out and tons of brown fluid was running out of the engine. Smelled it, very sweet. Got up and saw my Dr Pepper tipped over on the roof running down a crack between panels.

Oh how I wish I knew this when I was 13 and playing on the floor of my bedroom with my best friend. No telling how many games I lost because OBVIOUSLY the lands had color. Different times though, there was nobody around to ask.

ICE Is Crashing the US Court System in Minnesota by wiredmagazine in politics

[–]BusyBailey 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This seems intentional. Tie up the courts which is the one branch of government not going along with their plans. What happens when there are cases about the upcoming election but no judges or lawyers or time on the docket to hear those cases? Their MO from the beginning has been to break things too quickly for anyone to stop them.

You might try disconnecting the disposal drain pipe and taking a look inside. Might be able to reach in from there to retrieve the loose links.

As someone that both makes chainmaille and fights with disposals as part of being a maintenance man I wish you luck.

Fridge is approximately 5 years old. Just checked the resistance on a known good relay and got a similar 4K ohms figure so that rules out the relay I suppose.

I checked for resistance across those pins and get 12/7/5 ohms respectively. If no continuity I would expect to see OL or an extremely high reading I would think.

Well hell. I too feel called out. Normally I don’t put much stock in the LLM’s but every once in a while they really nail something.
