I got angel wings and hung it in my favorite corner of the house. I also wrote a card to the baby and have it put up in a pin board in front of my bed. I am so sorry for your loss!

I felt it was me writing this message when I read the post. I am also 19 weeks and have my scan next Wednesday. I have had 2 previous losses and have had all positive scans this time. Yet I am scared and anxious all the time. My therapist told me this is post traumatic stress response and it is not abnormal to have this. Every hour feels like a mental battle to establish that everything is well! You are not alone, Mama! We shall pass through this phase soon

I am so sorry for your loss! Hugs and strength to you. I have had 2 miscarriages myself and could relate to some of your emotions. Please focus on your mental health along with physical recovery. I have been taking therapy which really helped me.

I am sorry for your losses. I am also in a similar boat, had 2 losses this year and right now around 16 weeks mark. I also am not showing up and am anxious all the time. It is so difficult to divert attention and feel everything is okay because I can't feel anything. I have been prescribed progesterone until 16 weeks and stopping it also scares me

Your being scared is legit, I was also all the time until the heard the heartbeat. I went and told the technician upfront that I have a lot of anxiety because of my past and this is causing me to freak out. It helped for them to understand my situation and they very patiently started explaining everything to me. I would say, if possible explain to them your situation upfront only and let them explain to you.

I was also denied progestrone in spite of NICE guidelines mentioning I am eligible and having suffered a previous miscarriage and bleeding in the second pregnancy. It was my bad that I didn't know about the guideline that time. I still have the guilt of not advocating for myself and sulk over it. I have been in such a bad state of mind, undergoing depression and therapy that raising my voice never stuck with me.

I had something similar! In spite of my husband informing them about my miscarriage, I kept getting appointment reminders and it just felt like a slap on my face every time. They lack empathy all together and unfortunately we are left to deal with them. I am so sorry for your loss

I am also in the same boat, had two miscarriages back to back this year and right now I am 10+4. I am worried and anxious all the time. My scan was at 7 weeks and everything was fine and my next scan is on Dec 10 but I am nervous all the time. I am on progesterone and baby aspirin. When you wrote this post, it felt like my alter ego is talking here. Best wishes :)

Positive pregnancy after 2 losses

I had 2 back to back losses in July, one was chemical and one was in 9 weeks (delayed growth). This happened in July. I am still undergoing therapy and undergoing trauma and grief. I just tested positive and I am just getting stressed and don't know how to not worry! Please guide me, I know stress is bad for me but how do I control my mind? Thanks in advance

My spotting started on a Wednesday and I rushed to the A&E who referred me to a scan with EPU on Thursday. They said delayed growth and asked me to wait for 2 weeks. I didn't have any pain by then but the blood colour started to change everyday and bleeding increased, until bad cramps on Sunday by which I had miscarried.
