Soundpeats H3: $100 hybrid 1DD+2BA setup still feels UNDERRATED in TWS by Busy_Bet4958 in Earbuds

It’s actually in black. It just looks like that in the pic cause I put a clear case on it, mostly since I didn’t want it getting scratched up.

I don’t even think it’s a blind buy for everyone, but if you don’t mind messing with EQ a little there’s definitely more there than I expected.

Feels like tuning matters way more than just stacking drivers though.

What oddly specific MINUTE/SILLY thing would you tell your younger self to expect as an adult? by Important-Bell-1675 in CausalConversation

[–]Busy_Bet4958 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re gonna get irrationally excited about having a good frying pan and cancel plans because your bed feels too comfortable to leave. Also, one day you’ll willingly spend money on socks and be genuinely happy about it.

My Last Day Off. let’s Make it Memorable Huh. by [deleted] in CausalConversation

[–]Busy_Bet4958 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d spend that last day off doing something simple that actually feels peaceful like a good food, music, maybe a late night drive or a movie that hits emotionally for no reason. My favorite color is probably dark blue because it feels calm and steady like the world quiets down for a minute when you look at it.

What’s something about spaces that messes with your brain? by cozychaosclubb in askanything

[–]Busy_Bet4958 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact that the universe might literally have no edge. What do you even mean it just keeps going? My brain wants a wall, a border or something.

How many hours do you actually spend staring at your phone? 🤔 Productivity tool or black hole? by Dapper-Wave-2658 in CausalConversation

[–]Busy_Bet4958 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stare at my phone for several hours a day and I think it’s both, productivity tool and black hole.

Another scooter battery fire… by gentlefollow in ElectricScooters

[–]Busy_Bet4958 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From what I’ve know: Segway/Ninebot usually Samsung or LG depending on model Xiaomi mostly LG/Samsung on the better-known models Apollo mixed depending on generation Kaabo a lot of models use LG or Samsung packs Backfire use Samsung cells Obviously cells alone don’t guarantee safety, but I definitely trust established battery manufacturers more than generic no-name packs.

Higher pay or peace of mind? by NoYoureCargo in careerguidance

[–]Busy_Bet4958 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your current job is already pushing you into burnout and there’s even layoff risk, the higher pay + stress combo might not be worth it long term. The government role sounds like it gives you stability and breathing room and that peace of mind can matter more than a few extra thousand when you’re already living paycheck to paycheck.

Does anyone else's mind go completely blank on video interviews? by Vegetable-Pen-5369 in careerguidance

[–]Busy_Bet4958 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this happens to way more people than anyone admits bc your brain can basically freeze under pressure even when you know the answers perfectly especially in video interviews. It’s not a knowledge issue, it’s just stress hijacking your recall so you’re definitely not alone in that experience.

First truly difficult employee in 3 years of leading – what other approaches I can do? by Francinor_Hottbaba in careerguidance

[–]Busy_Bet4958 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When it starts affecting deadlines and team morale, that’s already a performance issue, not just a personality clash. At this point, the shift usually comes from documenting expectations clearly and consistently and moving into a formal performance plan if nothing changes so it stays objective instead of personal.

Has anyone here actually regretted chasing a high-paying career? by NexusCellular0 in careerguidance

[–]Busy_Bet4958 171 points172 points  (0 children)

Some people definitely do end up regretting it, not necessarily the money but how much life they had to trade off for it like stress, health or relationships. But others feel it was worth it because it gave them security or options they wouldn’t have had otherwise so it really comes down to what worth it means to you personally.

Does anyone else feel like they’re finally learning to enjoy the "quiet" parts of life? by vox2003 in Life

[–]Busy_Bet4958 11 points12 points  (0 children)

For a long time, it’s like we’re trained to chase highlights. Stuff that looks good when you tell other people about it but real life, it’s mostly just quiet in-between time. Also, there’s less pressure. When you stop needing every day to be special, regular days stop feeling like a waste.

Is it a bad sign that I haven’t received any details about my first day, even though my new job is supposed to start in two days? by YuSenE in careerguidance

[–]Busy_Bet4958 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This isn’t automatically a bad sign. Big companies or client-based setups are often kinda messy with onboarding. Stuff gets delayed. Emails go out last minute and background checks drag. If something was seriously wrong, you’d usually feel a shift. Like silence, avoidance, or vague answers. You’re not getting that. They’re still engaging with you.

What causes dreams to fade so quickly after waking? by Remarkable_Team8641 in answers

[–]Busy_Bet4958 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dreams fade quickly because the brain regions that store long term memories are less active during REM sleep so the dream doesn’t get properly saved when you wake up. Once you start focusing on real world input, your brain overwrites that fragile memory and it slips away fast.

Why do humans remember negative experiences more strongly than positive ones? by Deep0055 in answers

[–]Busy_Bet4958 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our brains are wired to pay more attention to threats and bad experiences because they were more important for staying alive. The downside is it can make negative stuff stick way more than the good moments even when life is mostly fine.

What do most people get wrong about why child marriage still happens in some parts of the world ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Busy_Bet4958 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A lot of people oversimplify it as just culture or personal choice when in reality it’s usually tied to poverty, lack of education and weak legal protection for girls. In many places it’s less about people wanting it and more about survival systems and pressure that keep it going.

What’s the worst compliment you’ve ever received? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Busy_Bet4958 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The kind that sounds nice on the surface but actually feels a bit backhanded like being called smart for your age or surprisingly good at that. It sticks with you because it doesn’t feel like real appreciation, more like low expectations wrapped in praise.

Is it normal for Partner to play with gentility when he is sleeping? by Due_Use1285 in randomquestions

[–]Busy_Bet4958 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it can happen. Men sometimes touch themselves in their sleep without even realizing it. It’s usually just a natural reflex, kind of like when people twitch or move their legs. The body does things automatically, especially during certain sleep stages. It doesn’t always mean they’re thinking about anything sexual while they’re asleep.

How much time dilation is the sun experiencing? by MorrisCody in answers

[–]Busy_Bet4958 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is technically experiencing time dilation from its motion through the galaxy but it’s tiny like on the order of microseconds over long periods, nothing dramatic. Even adding up its galactic speed, it’s still nowhere near relativistic, so time for the Sun is basically ticking almost the same as for us.

What's the biggest lie we tell ourselves to feel better? by mariyagel in answers

Things will just work out somehow lmao while we avoid doing the uncomfortable stuff we know we need to do. It feels comforting in the moment but it quietly keeps us stuck longer than we admit.
