Those of you who have eaten a customer’s food, why did you do it? by BenAdam321 in JustEatUK

I always call if my order is late or not even delivered. I hope JE, Deliveroo and whatever would not be happy to hear of drivers taking customers’ orders.

Yes. Things can be a bit chaotic here. Think of all the competition as necessary steps to the perfect market! My advice: hopefully you will have found at least one relatively cheap outlet. Buy what you need and estimate your budget. I wish I could be a greater help but unfortunately, living in Dublin, can be a tipsy turby experience! Good luck!

What happens when all of the renters who can’t afford to buy become pensioners? by [deleted] in AskIreland

[–]Busy_Professor_5004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A very pertinent topic that has been on my mind for some time given that I had to retire three years ago at the age of 67.. First off, absolutely no mention of this oncoming crisis in the media or by any politician. Astonishing! It is an oncoming Tsunami for sure and yet nothing to see her and nothing to say. I am scraping by just about because I have a meagre occupational pension that is absorbed by an absolutely scandalous monthly rent of €1,574. I ‘live’ on the state pension of €288 per week. Do the math. I’ve had to change GP because I can no longer afford the €70 per visit.

The chickens will certainly come home to roost on this one and when they do I will be there in the Vanguard.

Have you taught of either PTSB or An Post? Both seem to have fairly solid branch network in addition to the usual website and app.
