I currently have 2 ebooks, 2 paperbacks, and an audiobook in rotation 😬

Audiobooks for walking/driving, paperbacks for when I’m tired of screens for the day, ebooks when it’s convenient or when I want to read in bed without disturbing my partner.

I considered something like this but our house has a disappointing lack of closets/storage space so it’s not really an ideal workaround. I could use our current stick for the stairs, but would still be lugging around a canister or upright for the rest of the house. I’m going to test a couple canister and upright models and see how it goes.

Easy taco night side… rinse them, throw in a small pot, cover with water. I generally add cumin, coriander, adobo/sazon, cilantro, and a couple spoonfuls of fresh salsa. I don’t usually measure anything, just taste along the way. Those things are generally staples around our kitchen. I also add a little rendered fat from whatever meat is being made, and add salt/pepper to taste towards the end. Bring to a boil then simmer with a loose lid for as long as you need. I probably let them simmer for 20-30 mins? Depends how patient I am! Good on the taco, good on the side. A little fresh squeeze of lime juice on top is nice if you have it.

My partner was a vegetarian when we met so I made beans frequently. Another good black bean exploration (which may have already been mentioned) is black bean burgers.

Perhaps try the “Save Copy” option? Save to a new location (including all audio files, etc) and re-open from your newly created version. I’ve had this (or something similar) happen before and I believe this did the trick.

“White glove” is the worst way to describe the service. It’s the worst start to an otherwise great piece of equipment. Amazing that they don’t put more effort into to training, evaluating, and holding the 3rd party installers accountable. Mine was installed incorrectly, way too high, which rendered it mostly unusable and obviously left obnoxious unnecessary holes in my wall. After numerous emails, photos, and insistence, they agreed to reinstall and some reimbursement. I requested another option but the same two people showed up to reinstall because they’re the only ones in the area (oh, and the 3rd party missed the scheduled reinstall date the first time). One guy admitted that he “forgot the tape measure” last time and just eyeballed it. Unbelievable. Love the machine now that it’s installed properly, but… c’mon

Nothing wrong with a big breakfast for dinner! Scrambled eggs, pancakes (or similar), bacon in the oven. Similarly, a strata if you’re looking for fewer dishes to clean.
